Cycle 13: Dance For Your Life

jmrVgJF.pngJKSb2fB.png1JcHkEW.pngd8k4LOt.png

In the early rounds, when a couple doesn't get enough votes, they end up in the bottom. But this is their chance to prove to the judges why they should be saved from elimination. Nigel is always talking about how the decisions are not about which dancers they want to eliminate, but rather the dancers they want to save. If you are a good soloist (or a judge's favorite), that could save you from danger many times.

In this cycle, when it is your turn to nominate, you will choose 5 couples to put in danger. Everyone else will choose one individual dancer to save. Because we have 8 rankers instead of 9, one person will get an extra save each turn. At the end of the round, two dancers will be leftover and will be eliminated. The nominator must do the write-ups.

Turn order:

Order for the extra saves:

1. @*Amanda nominates 5 couples, Diana gets 2 saves

2. @*Diana nominates 5 couples, Amanda gets 2 saves

3. @Elliott nominates 5 couples, Rei gets 2 saves

4. @totes4totes nominates 5 couples, Andrew gets 2 saves

5. @sublymonal nominates 5 couples, Megan gets 2 saves

6. @JC nominates 5 couples, Elliott gets 2 saves

7. @.Rei nominates 5 couples, Zoey gets 2 saves

8. @Zoey nominates 5 couples, JC gets 2 saves

Amanda is up first to post her 5 couples! She has 24 hours. The couples will be posted below.

Report me to a mod then. I don’t care.

I'm not doing that, but it was way too extreme of a reaction with the direct swearing at me.

Just remember that this is just a game.

That would take backbone and it’s easier to be like “well nobody DMed me so I just have no choice but to be an $^^@*(! :( “

I don't know why you are blaming this completely on me, we all have shizz going on, yeah you blanket wanted to save Talia, but really the onus was on you to talk to everyone to make sure no one was planning to cut her. I wanted to cut Talia obviously from that group, but I would have been open to someone coming to me. I do not have time going around figuring out how I can save dancers I don't care about / dislike greatly.

I honestly am probably just going to cause more chaos now because I do not feel bad anymore 🙂  And I think of this as a game, so if I lose my favorites, TO HALE WITH IT!!!

Because I posted and nobody reached out to make a deal so I didn't think anybody was gonna cut Talia and then I was gone basically from Zoey's cut until it was my turn from IDF in general unless I had a DM. I didn't see your post but mine was posted way before yours.

How was I supposed to know that Talia was even on your radar.

And then your write-ups are just flat out disrespectful. Not to the dancers. To just say that you don't remember somebody. Then why are you playing this dumb game if you don't remember anybody? At least when others cut dancers I like they put a modicum of effort into it. And they take ownership. You've done neither! I'd respect it way more instead of being like "well I was lazy and Talia is my least favorite for XYZ reasons" and just OWN IT.

To be clear, I respect that you were upset about losing your favorite in the moment, which is why I just overlooked the direct swearing at me. However, we have completely different perspectives on what happened and we are just going to have to agree to disagree. I honestly was being nicer to Talia then I normally would in my writeup, so I guess it's interesting to see that you felt differently. And frankly, bringing up the writeups is irrelevant since I follow the guidelines of the rule to play the game, I feel like you're just trying to bring up something to blame me for. You can always add on with a tribute post of your own.

IDK how I have not OWNED the Talia cut, it's not like I could do it in secret. I am a bull in a china shop, so I don't exactly do things well in secret, you should probably be more worried about other people when it comes to doing stealthy stuff behind the scenes.
