What an important film. Rei Quote My favorite film of the year Alex Quote While I personally prefer The Favourite and Eighth Grade, I think Roma is the best movie of the year. Such a deeply personal movie, but also so gorgeous and cinematic. Cuaron's masterpiece. 2. A Quiet Place 6.4/15 Watch Trailer @Steven_ - 1/15 @*Diana - 3/15 @.Rei - 5/15 @FrogLenzen - 5/15 @Alex95 - 7/15 @Elliott - 7/15 @Deeee - 8/15 @1234567890 - 8/15 @*Chris - 10/15 @goofycilla90 - 10/15 Alex Quote Just a really well done movie. I held my breath the entire time when I first saw it. Whew the nail scene still scares the shit out of me! Emily Blunt is amazing here and Jupe & Simmonds are two of my favorite child actors currently working and I hope we get long and amazing careers from both of them. Dee Quote One of my favorite motion picture experiences in a theatre ever. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are incredible in their performances here, and kudos to Krasinksi for his directorial debut being such an exciting, vivid, terrifying, and unique experience that puts ASL at the forefront! 1. Eighth Grade 5.5/15 Watch Trailer @Alex95 - 1/15 @*Chris - 2/15 @Deeee - 3/15 @.Rei - 3/15 @FrogLenzen - 3/15 @goofycilla90 - 5/15 @1234567890 - 6/15 @Steven_ - 8/15 @Elliott - 11/15 @*Diana - 13/15 Alex Quote While I will never approve of the awful The Favourite cut, I'm soooooo happy Eighth Grade is getting its flowers here. One of the best coming-of-age films ever and such an amazing directorial debut for Bo Burnham, a comedian I have been a fan of and have followed for years. So raw, so uncomfortable, so relatable. Elsie Fisher is a gift to the world and Josh Hamilton was Oscar-worthy in his role as her dad. Amazing film, amazing winner. Dee Quote Sweet, sharp, sensitive, awkward, natural, affecting, intelligent, natural, raw, special, anxious, hilarious. Eighth Grade is best film about adolescence ever. Elsie Fisher deserved everything for this performance. I cannot explain how deeply this film impacted me. Just too great for words. Rei Quote I'm glad this made the top

Steven_
I usually avoid horror films, but A Quiet Place piqued my interest and ended up being an excellent movie. I enjoyed the sequel as well. Congrats to Eighth Grade on the win.
