There`s definitely more to it, but having two seasons per year, in which the winners (and the rest of contestants) are forgotten within 2-3 months before another group replaces them definitely hasn`t helped, especially with the shortened format. And I like this even more because idol and the voice on the same time in the spring can be alot.
