I feel like this has recently dethroned Into You as my favorite Ariana song but it’s just so perfect. What a wholesome, mature theme and the song is catchy from the first second on. I’ve listened to this song hundreds of times.

I feel like "thank u, next" is up there as amongst Ariana's most signature and beloved songs from her discography. I do think this is a great, catchy and enjoyable song. I do love it but I feel like this is maybe one of those songs others may love more than me? But still, I do love this song nonetheless. I love the lowkey midtempo feel of this song. I love how angelic sounds on the opening verses, where she sings about her exes. She sounds so pretty there. ❤️ I love all of what she sings there but the line where she sings: Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm. 'Cause he was an angel is a line that always gets to me and makes me sad. :broken: Beautiful shout out to Mac Miller there.

I do love the pre-chorus of the songs where she goes more into depth about her exes and what they helped her learn in their relationships. Then on the second verse, I love how she's grateful for what she taught herself and learned through those relationships. It feels like a really good self reflective song, which I appreciate. OK but then that chorus is so fun and catchy!

Thank you, next (Next)
Thank you, next (Next)
Thank you, next
I'm so grateful for my ex

:bobo:

I do love the 3rd verse where she sings that part about One day I'll walk down the aisle. Holding hands with my mama. I'll be thanking my dad. 'Cause she grew from the drama. That's another part that stood out to me. I also think the music video really helped this song be even more successful than it already was. It's quite an iconic video paying homage to so many beloved teen films. The video is a lot of fun to watch and bet it was fun to make. :haha: I feel like "thank u, next" is popular enough to make it to the Top 5 for sure. I could see it even winning too though I would rather some other Ariana songs win.

I absolutely love "no tears left to cry" and while it took me some time to figure out what my overall favorite Ariana song is, I just feel and happen to land on this song. I do love a number of Ariana songs but something about this song just really draws me in and get invested into this song every time I listen to it! :wub: I feel like this song has so many layers and depth to it, that it's quite captivating. I do really love how Ariana sings the opening of the song in a capella and in such a gorgeous way!

Right now, I'm in a state of mind
I wanna be in like all the time
Ain't got no tears left to cry

SO gorgeous! :omg: But then I LOVE and am soo here and jamming to how she picks up the song on the next part!

So I'm pickin' it up, pickin' it up
I'm lovin', I'm livin', I'm pickin' it up
So I'm pickin' it up, pickin' it up
I'm lovin', I'm livin', I'm pickin' it up (oh, yeah)

Ariana knows how to get the jam pumpin! :bobo: I love how she sings the verses, pre-chorus, chorus and just everything of this song!

Right now, I'm in a state of mind
I wanna be in, like, all the time
Ain't got no tears left to cry
So I'm pickin' it up, pickin' it up (oh yeah)
I'm lovin', I'm livin', I'm pickin' it up
Oh, I just want you to come with me
We're on another mentality
Ain't got no tears left to cry
So I'm pickin' it up, pickin' it up (oh yeah)
I'm lovin', I'm livin', I'm pickin' it up

Pickin' it up (yeah), pickin' it up (yeah)
Lovin', I'm livin', so we turnin' up
Yeah, we turnin' it up

:bobo::bobo::bobo:

Oooh and I also meant to mention, I really love all of those parts where she sings We're out here vibin', we vibin', we vibin'. That part is so fun! :bobo:  This song gives off such a fun uplifting feel to it - after crying so much and having no more tears left to cry. So she just moves on, pick it up and keep it moving! Ariana does give great power vocals throughout the song that I do really love. But I love how she closes the song in a speaking way where she sings:

I'm pickin' it up, I'm pickin' it up
Lovin', I'm livin', so we turn it up
Yeah, we're turnin' it up.

But yeah I do absolutely love "no tears left to cry" and really hope to see it rank well and highly. I would really love to see this song win this round but I don't think it will. But I do really hope it can make the Top 5, which I am not sure it can but fingers crossed!

Duh, I can’t NOT rank this song high. It’s one of her biggest hits and deservedly so, I remember being floored by this when it came out.

Not me being one of the lowest rankers for a song that I love lol. We love our diction queen. This low average score for a 25 song ranking is pretty insane. But I don't have all the other winner rankings written down anywhere

Omggg my favorite Ariana song, "no tears left to cry" ended up winning? :omg: Wow I was not really expecting that but so happy. Ah I was sad that some of my biggest favorites from Ariana missed out but no tears winning definitely makes me happy there! ❤️

Also really well done to "thank u, next" making it to 2nd! I know it's a really well loved song. I knew plenty of others would love it more than me but yeah now that it came in 2nd and didn't win I can be happy for it! 🙈

Megan is still traveling cross-country, so I'm not in a super rush to start her round.

But be advised that Janelle Monae is coming up next! After you celebrate the last of Ariana, adjust your playlists and get ready!

I have just finished my cross-country drive!

Welcome to the Janelle Monáe round! I don't have a long speech prepared like Dee. We are looking to find the Top 25 songs from the list above, and crown a winner. I took the discography from Wikipedia, so if there's anything missing please let me know. All the singles from the albums/demos/EPs have been labeled with [SINGLE] in case that helps you mentally sort things when looking at the list.

If you would like to play the Janelle round, select two songs to be safe until Round 4.

Since this is Megan's round, she has the power to put one song directly into the Top 25. She can use that power at any point during any round as long as it is before the song is cut. She can do it immediately, or wait until she sees what kind songs need support.

These people signed up:

@totes4totes

@FrogLenzen

@~Tom~

@#jeah

@NGM

@*Diana

@*Lily

But anyone else can still join!

@*Wallace @1234567890 @*Chris etc.

Victoria can’t log into her account so if you need anything from her (ANTM, Music or Songs) it’s best you message me and I can pass the message to her and then I can pass it back on here.

She broke her phone so she can’t access anything since she had the saved password feature on for so long that she forget it.

If you need to reach her PM me.
