Plenty of contributing factors. There’s less viewers, less weeks, multiple people eliminated each night, voting opens at the start of the show, it airs on a different network, etc.

Honestly, that entire season was one of the most boring seasons I’d ever seen. You’re better off only having watched the performances on YouTube.

Me trying to figure out how this supposed all-country finale is possible when there’s only one country contestant in the Top 5:

Laci wasn’t inconsistent. Her run ended on two bad weeks because she had laryngitis (though I thought her Top 5 performances were fine), but prior to that, she was consistently among the best performers every week.

This place still thinks southern rock = country, so I’m not surprised they’re acting like Abi is the only non-country contestant left.

Disney for both songs.

Every week since the Top 14, the person going home is someone I voted for. Taking applications for who I curse next week.

Last year’s was pretty terrible, too.

I’m sure y’all are still gonna overrate this like crazy, but I’m actually enjoying this Abi performance.

So far, I think Julia’s had the two worst performances of the night.

She was sick at the start of the live shows. I don’t think the format of this season has been helped her better, unfortunately.

By this point in the season, I don’t think the performances have much of an impact on the vote rankings.
