I ended up getting 5/6 on Team Guy, 4/6 on Team Rita, 5/7 on Team Jason, and 2/6 on Team Jess. This means I got 16/25, or 64% right, which is alright. This episode was subpar. Ezra was honestly my favorite, with Calista close behind. Honestly, Ezra went from having a subpar audition to being the best female on Team Jess (which isn't saying much since Shyjana and Jade are both pretty pitchy, and Giann, while pleasant to listen to, is still quite shaky and nervous) Alex and Callum were both alright but I didn't love their arrangements for their songs. I think they could've really knocked it out of the park if the arrangement was more refined. Now I am shocked that Emily Kate was montaged. Granted, hearing her snippet, I'm not too surprised, but I was really looking forward to her. At least she's through I suppose. Jade Taunton 5. Ezra Williams 4. Shyjana 3. Giann Jordan 2. David Aumua 1. Dillon Rhodes Weakest team by far, lots of fixer-uppers here, my hot take is Dillon will be the last person standing here. III. TEAM GUY 6. Robbie Hunt 5. Jaydean Miranda 4. Bella McKenzie 3. Elly Poletti 2. Charlie Pittman 1. Marley Sola It's kinda sad that these people ended up on Team Guy because they could have so much potential but their coach has a history of perplexing song choices and decisions. That being said, Marley is clearly poised as the frontrunner here. II. TEAM RITA 6. Gezel Bardossi 5. Levi X 4. Nyree Huyser 3. Elsa Marilyn 2. Emily Kate 1. Tarryn Stokes Besides the kids, this team is pretty solid. Tarryn is just heads and shoulders above any of the female powerhouses this season, I would be shocked if she goes home before the Finale. I. TEAM JASON 7. Etienne Steven 6. Calista Nelmes 5. Alex Jeans 4. Ethan Beckton 3. Andrew Taylor Knight 2. Maree Mamalis 1. Callum Warrender Honestly, what a powerful team for Jason's first season. Everyone here is solid and has a clear artistic identity. King Callum for the win, he was backed in the corner being made to sing a song completely out of his wheelhouse for the Ultimate Callbacks, but he did what he had to do and Broadway'd the hell out of it. The coach choose one of them to go straight to the semi, while the other 2 goes to a singoff round.
