I would love to see Haven sing "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon. Olivia Rodrigo covered it at Carly's induction to the Rock & Roll HOF and she slayed. I can see Haven pulling off the song as well!

A number of these songs I'm familiar with.  I'd like to hear "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics, but I don't know who can perform it, or if they got into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

They were actually inducted in the Hall of Fame last year, so that song is eligible. Funnily enough, Kaya Stewart, the girl who was Fire’s duet partner, was Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics’ daughter.

I know that Kaya was the daughter of a member of the Eurythmics.  I felt sorry for her (and Fire) when she had to withdraw due to illness.  But thanks for telling me that the song was eligible.  Now I need to know if anyone from the Top 12 can do "Sweet Dreams" justice.

This Sunday's episode is themed to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! 365 artists have been inducted to date. Which artists do you predict the Top 12 will choose to sing?

https://www.rockhall.com/inductees/a-z

I'm really hoping the Top 12 choose to sing songs by artists that haven't been covered to death yet. I hope some of the remaining female contestants look to sing songs by Madonna or Janet Jackson instead of Whitney Houston. I'm almost sure some of the contestants will end up singing songs by The Beatles. I think Iam could do a good job covering Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da by The Beatles. And I wouldn't be shocked if We chooses to sing one of the versions of I Put a Spell on You. I've been thinking for a while that Haven might be able to do a good job covering Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper. And I think Colin could do a good job covering Daniel by Elton John or Riders in the Sky by Johnny Cash. I think Oliver could do a good job covering (Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding. And I think Warren could do a good job covering Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd or Mary Jane's Last Dance by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Those are just some thoughts I have as of right now.

I think We probably could do "Sweet Dreams" justice. And it would be a bit of a surprising song choice for her as well.

i wanna see some actual rock songs, some of the ones suggested are just pop songs which isn’t bad but yeah

i’d like dream on, crazy on you, alone — i know they’re overdone but a strong cover especially of the first or last would be a big moment

Especially if a male could successfully cover Alone. Now that could be somewhat interesting, given that I've never heard a male cover it before.

This would be perfect for her voice and stage presence, as well as her storyline thus far :giggle: I really hope she sings this now and goes out with a bang!
