Idol itself has chosen to label her as “Christian singer” Megan Danielle on the YT clip of her audition. She doesn’t need to say a word. They’re doing the work for her. They are never going to promote contestants who actively share their bigoted beliefs! In no way is it a "strategy" to get vote because it will likely result in them being removed from the competition.
