But overall, it was nothing special. JC Quote Both were kind of blah, but Kimora was better. REI Quote I would have saved Jaymes. But both were pretty boring. LILY Quote This was fine. But Love Shack could have got so much better at a later stage of the competition, with non-filler queens taking it up. JC Quote This wasn't as terrible as Charlie Hides, Cynthia was slightly better, but nothing special. They both got super lucky because of Eureka. LILY Quote Go on girls, give us nothing! CHRIS Quote The most memorable thing of this lipsync is the end when Eureka gets sent home and Farrah is crying up a storm. REI Quote I have no recollection of this ever happening. JC Quote This was strange because Nina was not herself. In her first two lipsyncs she had a different energy, in this one it felt like she was defeated and faded into the background. Shea's movements were more crisp, exaggerated, and engaging. It's like she intimidated Nina into being a shell of herself. CHRIS Quote See Lily's comment. LILY Quote I'm just glad Shea improved on her lip-syncing in All-Stars. She did a fine job here but NBB had basically checked out at this point. I'm also just not sure if the song really can be enough to give us a showstopping moment so it's just forgettable to me. DEREK Quote Imagine if Shea messed this up just like Valentina did lol. This places low because the result was obvious and the song was just okay. ---------------------- 11. The run into the splits is so great. CHRIS Quote This lipsync is a guilty pleasure of mine. I thought Alexis Michelle was incredible in this, and she's really is underrated if I am being honest. I want to see her get another chance at this competition. DEREK Quote Why is she green? JC Quote Alexis definitely won, but not a lipsync that sticks out necessarily. REI Quote Meh. It's become iconic in its own strange way. TTT the obvious winner and yet, I barely remember what she does because this somehow becomes the Charlie Hides show. CHRIS Quote Aja slayed the heck out of this lipsync. She proved the world that she's an incredible performer. DEREK Quote Kimora literally laid down on stage at one point and let Aja win. LILY Quote Aja turned it out! I don't think it's an amazing performance but we were in desperate need of a lip-sync performance that was at least decent at this point, and they sold it. VALENTINA - "GREEDY" AVERAGE SCORE: 6.11 @FrogLenzen - 3 @JC - 3 @*Chris - 5 @Elliott - 5 @.Rei - 5 @Deeee - 6 @Zoey - 6 @*Lily - 8 @Solaris - 14 DEREK Quote Tell me this is not one of the most iconic lip syncs in the history of the show. Valentina would have had to put up a fight to win against Nina's amazing makeup (that looked AMAZING when lip syncing) but then Valentina did THAT. Wow. JC Quote I'm sorry but this is just iconic because of Valentina, and I have to give this a high rating just because of that. Obsessed with the mask "it's a lipsync, what part of that do you not understand" I am Nina actually slayed the lipsync but sadly for her it was overshadowed by Valentina CHRIS Quote A lipsync that marked Season 9 as a memorable season. Valentina predicted the time that we are living in it, and Nina really did good in this. REI Quote Nina killed it and Valentina brought the drama LILY Quote It's an iconic moment obviously for all the famous reasons, but I feel like NBB's performance in this almost gets overlooked. She does a really great job and even if Valentina was ready and knew the words, she's going up against a tough competitor. ---------------------- 06. AJA VS. JC Quote The first lipsync of the season that was evenly matched. I think that Aja deserved to stay actually over NBB. DEREK Quote Amazing. Nina's shimmy OP LILY Quote Both of them did a really great job. NBB had the win but I think Aja held her own pretty well. CHRIS Quote I thought they both delivered - wish I could have ranked it higher but preferred other lipsyncs more than this one. ---------------------- 05. ALEXIS MICHELLE VS. This is and will always be a Peppermint stan account. But both of them truly brought it and it was fun watching all the queens join in, in the back. CHRIS Quote Peppermint is one of the greatest lipsyncer in RPDR herstory. DEREK Quote Peppermint said go home. REI Quote Peppermint slayed! Alexis sucked! JC Quote Peppermint did a better job in this lipsync but I wasn't a fan of her using a similar dance to her first lipsync. Would have expected her to be more innovative than that. FrogLenzen Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 What is so crazy about Valentina leaving the mask on (I mean there are a million things crazy about it) is that if she had just not pissed off Ru and given 10% effort the first time, who knows? RuPaul might have saved her. They could do any kind of edit they want. Nina was standing there with pretty much no makeup on her body and none on the back of her head. But even if she wanted to keep the mask on the whole time, you have to do SOMETHING! Dance around! Act crazy! Pretend to do sign language! Something! She stood in one spot whether the mask was on or off. It is one of the craziest things I've seen on the show.
