One of the original pioneers that made survivor great. Rudy was on the original season of Survivor, Survivor Borneo. The audience was fond of Rudy's work ethic, and most importantly his strange friendship with Richard Hatch, that seasons winner. He was part of the Tagi tribe, and closely aligned with Richard. His tribe decimated Pagong at the merge, giving us the term "Pagonging" in the survivor dictionary. He was able to make it all the way to the final 3, when he would eventually give out and Kelly Wigglesworth would send him out of the game.

 

He reappeared in Survivor All-Stars being 3 years older. He had set a record for the oldest person to play the game, and then broke his own record this season. Unfortunately he was not meant for a long journey on his second attempt. He was voted out second on Saboga.

 

Rudy has recently passed away, but still lives on as a Survivor Hall of Famer, and legend of the game.
