wait i don't think Maelyn is the winner who showed the most vocal skill on the show? i think the easiest claim is Jordan Smith, but also strong arguments can be  made for Chris Blue, Alisan Porter, perhaps Tessanne Chin.

What's most impressive about Chris tbh is breath control because he never seems to get out of breath even when dancing around the stage but though he has a lot of "tricks" I don't think he's the same level of vocalist as Jordan, Alisan, and Tessanne.

1. Jordan - Best vocalist this show has ever seen.

2. Tessanne - Most consistent performer this show has ever seen. Crazy to think she had 29 performances.

What's interesting is, that his best performances were the ones in which he moved around the stage the most. Superstition, Love On The Brian, and Rhythm Nation.

Yeah i know. I was only ranking from season 11 on bc i didn't watch the others. The top 5 winners based on vocal ability

would be Maelyn, Jordan, Alisan, Tessanne, and Chris
