Considering the format and shortened season, viewers might not feel as invested in the finalists. Monday is only the second live show. It's also the second and last time viewers are able to vote for this season's contestants. Voting is limited to one vote per method per account. Vote splitting will occur between Grace and NOIVAS. No White males are competing for the trophy. One male finalist is a battle steal, and the other is a playoff pass recipient. The youngest teen is in a sister trio. The Top 5 soloists are 18, 19, 25, and 30 years old. when push comes to shove, i think blake fans are going to, in large part, go for the country artist remaining. she's good, and she sticks to more classic country (as opposed to holly who does a pop-variation on country), which probably appeals to them more. i don't really see anyone but Grace winning. - noivas has come off a little too "wild," which i think makes him polarizing. he hasn't had a quiet, restrained performance yet - sorelle is a trio that leans to peppy pop, which likely won't appeal to the older audience members - d.smooth feels like he leans more toward modern r&b than a lot of the successful r&b contestants. props to him on making it as far as he did - gina feels to me like the contestant with the least things blocking them from victory, but i also think her performances are not as memorable as noivas and sorelle are -- their performances are "out there" and leave an impact, whereas gina's performances seem more restrained and calm (neither a good or a bad thing objectively of course). that being said, she clearly made an impact with "wicked games" so if she gives another performance like that, she might push to runner up. i don't think she will win. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Grace - Her blind, KO and PO were more mid-tempo, but would probably qualify as “uptempo,” given the grey areas we’ve seen with this in past seasons. NOIVAS - Some grey areas here too. I’m not sure his PO qualifies as uptempo. I’ll say mid tempo at best. Gina - Uptempo will be new for her on the show, depending on what they give her. As I mentioned above, there have been grey areas in the past. D. Smooth - He definitely hasn’t gone uptempo yet. If you don’t like the map you’re looking at, just keep refreshing until you get one more to your liking. I have noticed a couple things. -Grace has recently been getting more search activity coming from the Southern states where Holly was strongest, including Mississippi.
