The Voice alums Rebecca Brunner (S13) and Wé McDonald (S11 Third Place) are also rumored to have auditioned for Season 21 of American Idol. Additionally, Kya Monee’ from American Idol Season 19 (she was the late Willie Spence’s Hollywood Week duet partner that season) is said to be making a comeback this upcoming season. m1key Posted November 14, 2022 Share Posted November 14, 2022 Wé is AMAZING and I'm sure she will make it decently far on vocals alone. Haven't kept up with her since The Voice, but I hope she is more sure of herself as an artist now. I felt like on The Voice many of her songs were dated (Feeling Good, Home, Dont Rain On My Parade, God Bless The Child, etc.) It might be tough for her to compete with more well rounded or "current" artists on Idol, but I am sure she has improved in that regard and I am excited to see what she serves this season! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
