Leonardo Dionicio

1200x0.jpg

Leonardo Dionicio is an Islander on Season 5 of Love Island. Leonardo entered the villa on Day 1 and  remained on the Island until he was crowned the runner-up with Kassandra Castillo on Day 32.

I just find this current season of love Island so iconic so then comparing I felt like season 5 was pretty meh. Leo was fine I guess. Not someone I felt like really warranted runner up. Even his wiki had like 2 sentences. I don't think he is someone even strong love Islanders care about doing a quick Google search.

I don't think he's a big loss here.

Bumpa Love | Drag Race Down Under

Bumpa Love was the fifth place queen on the third season of Drag Race Down Under. I’m surprised that we’re still going with this franchise since none of the seasons have really produced a standout star like many others but we move. Bumpa was pretty invisible for the whole season and didn’t win anything while competing so she’s more than a fair cut at this point. I’d like to say that Bumpa really shone on the runway but what she showed us was pretty pedestrian. I guess my favourite look of hers was her I Don’t Even Know Her runway but even then it seemed pretty costumey. I’ve just rewatched her talent show performance one user on reddit summed it up - “The season that made Rupaul flee Down Under.”

omg i'm sorry, i never watch love island lol. :(

I do agree with Alex regarding Todd & Ashlie in that they had a few great, fun and trainwrecky moments but it did seem few and far between. I think they were fun at first then boring for the middle of the race and then fun again on their last 2 weeks. They were kind of a mid-tier team for me (like 6th/7th favorites?). Of the TAR teams nominated, I'm fine with them going (though hope Steve & Anna Leigh can get saved).

Hmmm Leonardo Dionicio is definitely an interesting one. I liked him at the start. I really liked his relationship with Kassy and they were close to closing things off on Casa. But then he had that Casa Amor drama where he crossed the line getting naughty in bed with a Casa girl, Johnnie.... and oooof that was something. 🙈 Kassy didn't take well to that at all. Then also Kassy/Johnnie had a potential coupling in there too, which was expected. But then Leonardo realized his feelings and realized he really loved Kassy and would make it up to her (and thankfully she didn't forgive him right away), which led to them being runners up. But oh they are the only finalists that didn't last after the show, so that's a shame for them. This is a good placement for him and I do prefer the others remaining more from Season 5 of LI.

BOWIE JANE

giphy.webp

I did like Bowie Jane during Big Brother 25, but I'm pretty sure she's going to be cut from these nominations. So, I'd rather do her write-up myself. Plus, Matt's become a target, and this will at least get him to the Top 5 here of BB25.

Bowie Jane is originally from Australia, and she works as a barrister and a DJ. She hid the fact she's a barrister, and she also lied about her age. She claimed she was in her thirties, even though she's 45. Cirie and Felicia weren't fooled though. Anyway, Bowie Jane flew under the radar and was pretty much underestimated by everybody. This was her strategy though, but her gameplay in the early days was too passive. She was first recruited into the Bye Bye Bitches and the Professors alliances, and she later formed a close bond with Red. Cameron also wanted to take her under his wing, but Cameron really didn't have much influence over anybody. But I digress. Bowie Jane's plan was to just be a team player and support the people who had her back.

Well, Bowie Jane ended up feeling betrayed by her Bye Bye Bitches alliance members. They excluded her from the plan to vote out Red, and Bowie Jane was hurt to be left out. They thought they could do damage control, but Bowie Jane knew she couldn't trust them anymore. She became a free agent. Cameron tried to recruit her to his side, and so did Cory. However, Matt was already laying the groundwork with Bowie Jane right before the Legend 25 alliance was formed. Both Bowie Jane and Red felt like they could trust Matt, even though he was pretty much playing all sides of the house.

Soon afterwards, Bowie Jane ended up agreeing to work with the two duos of Cory & America and Matt & Jag. They were a solid five for a short while in the house. She was happy to be on their team, but then Matt and Jag successfully planted seeds of doubt to make Bowie Jane turn against Cory and America. Bowie Jane (at least from what it looked like on the feeds at the time) seemed to trust Matt the most, so she believed Matt and Jag's claims about Cory and America with no questions.

Bowie Jane ended up being a valuable alliance member to Matt and Jag. Matt and Jag called their duo The Minutemen, but Bowie Jane's clutch HoH victories helped this new trio take control for the latter half of the game. After Cameron's eviction (and he was even evicted under Bowie Jane's HoH reign due to The Minutemen's pushing), Bowie Jane, Matt, and Jag won all the necessary competitions for the rest of the game to keep control and take everybody else out. They ended up calling their trio The Mafia, and they made it to the Final 3 together. Jag won the Final HoH, and he chose to sit in the Final 2 with Matt. Bowie Jane ended up being the final member of the jury, and she voted for Jag to win the game. Her jury question became a meme for a while ("How did your game change for – I'm going to say the better – when you joined The Mafia with Matt and I?!). Even though it seemed like she was closer to Matt earlier in the game, she had eventually grown closer to Jag (specifically during the week of Matt's HoH reign).

Bowie Jane gets a lot of grief from fans. They believe she just played to help Matt and Jag get to the end. I understand that perspective, but she wanted to play a loyal game. She likely would've stuck with the Bye Bye Bitches if they didn't turn on her. Plus, Cirie, Izzy, and Felicia were very mean to Bowie Jane. They disregarded her and made fun of her a lot throughout the game. Outside of Cirie and Felicia, what were Bowie Jane's other options? Trying to ride it to the end with Cameron, the house pariah? All she had left was choosing either Cory & America or Matt & Jag. Cory tried to recruit her, but he lost to Matt and Jag. Matt and Jag actually became Bowie Jane's friends, and they included her in strategy talks. So, of course she was going to stay loyal to them. And Bowie Jane did well in competitions and managed to make it all the way to the Final 3 without getting nominated until finale night. Bowie Jane seemed like she could've been the perpetual pawn of the season in the early days, but she managed to stay off the block for nearly the entire game.

Is Bowie Jane one of the best Big Brother players ever? No. I don't think she's as useless as some fans claim though. She's a good competitor and a reliable ally. What she lacked was the strong desire to win; she didn't have that cutthroat tenacity to keep her eyes on the prize and do whatever she could to be the winner of the season. But The Mafia was the alliance I was rooting for while watching the show, so no complaints from me. Bowie Jane seems like a really nice person too, so I enjoyed Bowie Jane throughout Big Brother 25.

MARSHAWN LYNCH

STARS ON MARS || 6TH PLACE

stars_on_mars_marshawn_2x.jpg?fit=inside

Just like Buddy Games, Stars on Mars premiered in 2023 and was essentially a way for FOX to have shows airing during the writers' strike. The premise of the show follows celebrities living together in a base camp to simulate life on Mars. Each cycle, someone is elected Base Commander and assigns tasks to be completed around the camp. During missions, the group works together to complete tasks under the direction of the Base Commander and a Mission Specialist, chosen by the Commander. After the mission, the Specialist and Commander choose three celebrities who contributed the least, putting them up for elimination, and the group then decides who to eliminate.

On the first and only season of the show, Marshawn Lynch, an NFL legend, competed. He was the Base Commander in the first episode but found himself at risk during the next two episodes. Whether this was a strategy to get him out early or if he was truly the weakest is unknown, as I didn't watch the show. Regardless, he made it all the way to the 11th episode before being eliminated in 6th place. Overall, this is a great showing for him considering he's from one of the lesser-known reality TV shows in this rankdown.

Greg & John (TAR35)

The Amazing Race 35: Greg and John Franklin Winner Interview (2023) - Parade

These guys are brothers aged 26 and 29 from New York City. They are both computer scientists. They dominated the season pretty much. They got 3rd in the first 2 legs then kinda just survived in 8th place for a couple weeks... but they were in the Top 2 the rest of the season and won 4 legs in a row. . Idk why they are nominated and why they weren't saved, maybe they were annoying or maybe they made the season boring. This season had the most number of sibling teams and most number of all male teams ever cast on the show, so this male sibling team fits right into that statistic.

I did not expect Steven to cut Bowie Jane. :dead: But I get the reasoning for why.  And a really great in depth write-up there.

I wasn't too big on Bowie Jane overall. She was nice and likable but I just wasn't reallly all that invested in her in the house. I guess a lot of her game seemed too passive/just there. She didn't really start doing much until winning comps and making her own decisions towards the end. But her playing/staying under the radar did work well for her. I get why she worked with Matt/Jag towards the end having lost trust in the original alliance she was apart of. And lmaoo yeah the most shocking (and impressive) part of her game was how she was never on the block until her eviction. :omg: She totally seemed like she would have been the perpetual pawn for sure. :haha:

Awws Marshawn... :haha: He's quite a polarizing personality on Stars on Mars. On one hand, he was unintentionally funny and hilarious. He had me cracking up a lot with how nonchalant he was. But on the other hand, he was quite lazy and didn't really want to do anything. He wasn't much of a team player hence why he landed at risk a number of times (though in most cases, other people either did worse or were ready to go). Marshawn did have a fun rivalry/friendship with Porsha... and their scenes were crack me up. :haha: Good fair spot for him and happy he got this far.

Greg & John were moreso on the boring side rather than annoying side. Like Todd/Ashlie, they were like a mid-tier team for me. I rememeber really liking them and seeing their brotherly bond at the start and I was rooting for them. But then I guess when they started dominating the season, they got less interesting and became boring on that front. They became focused on winning and didn't really show much fun as I wanted to see from them. I liked them and was okay with them winning but wasn't huge on them - I'd rather Rob/Corey have won but at least they beat Joel & Garrett which I was good with (Though phew this TAR order is going kinda rough for me lol :haha: ).

Lauren Harpe

Survivor's Lauren Harpe explains why she was 'pissed' at Carson

We are going to lose survivor people this round, and Lauren is honestly the easiest to lose of the 4 nominated.  I don't really want to cut her, but she is also the least favored overall on this board from the nominee's.  Lauren was cast on Survivor 44, as part of the Ratu tribe.  She did really well for herself throughout the season.  Ratu only went to tribal once early on and Lauren didn't even vote as she used her Bank advantage.  This let her keep her vote for a future tribal council.  She really made it all the way to the merge without casting a vote.  She worked with Ratu throughout the merge, and at times the Tika 3.  She was the last surviving member of her alliance, and she made it all the way to 5th. She was likable for the little she was shown throughout the season, but I wasn't emotionally attached to her like I was Carolyn. Oh, she also won a couple immunity challenges in the merge!

NIGEL HARMAN & KATYA JONES

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR5cSpt-U0E-Eu-NzmuAup

Nigel Harman is a stage & screen actor. He competed on Season 21 of Strictly Come Dancing. He was partnered with Katya Jones. Not gonna lie, at the beginning of the season, there was a lot of hype around him and many people thought that he was going to win and I was like ughhh. Anyways, he started off the season at the top of the leaderboard scoring a 32 for his paso doble. Even though, he started off with so much potential, he kinda didn't go anywhere, it was just disappointing after that. His best dance was in Week 8 where he did a Couple's choice and scored 34. His average score was 30.7 and it was just an overall underwhelming run. Oh, he also was forced to withdraw from the competition due to a rib injury and therefore placed 5th overall. I do wonder if he would've been able to beat Ellie Leach, I don't think so though.

Mrs. Kasha Davis (RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 8 )

MrsKashaDavisAS8-copy.jpg?width=1200&hei

Mrs. Kasha Davis is a 51-year old drag performer from Rochester, New York, who competed on the 8th season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. But before that, Mrs. Kasha Davis competed and made her Drag Race debut on the 7th season of the main US version, where she placed 11th there. Mrs. Kasha Davis is known for being a nice and kind queen/person and I've always liked that about her. However as a competitor, she was just there and meh... and just never really stood out to much to me - on either her original season or this All-Stars season.

On the first episode of the season titled "The Fame Games," Mrs. Kasha was apart of Team Glitter Chicks, where she performed with Jaymes Mansfield, Jessica Wild, Jimbo, LaLa Ri and Monica Beverly Hillz. She did well enough to be safe this episode to make it to the next week. Episode 2's challenge was "It's RDR Live!" where the queens performed in a sketch comedy performance live Vegas show. Ooof, oh dear I can't really remember what Mrs. Kasha did here but she did well enough to be safe again. Then come Episode 3's "The Supermarket Ball", where the queens had to present 3 looks on the runway - these looks categories were:  "Legen-dairy Queens", "Fruity Patootie", and the design outfit challenge called "Supermarket Supermodel Eleganza." Mrs. Kasha Davis struggled this week and landed in the Bottom 2 against Darienne Lake. With this being the All-Stars season, the Top 2 queens that week Jessica and Ra'Jah performed a lip sync in which Jessica won. Jessica had her lip sync to send Mrs. Kasha Davis home. The majority of queens votes were for Kasha as well. Mrs. Kasha had her classy farewell message where she said "Look in your eyes and say I love you daily. Love you all, Ms. Kasha." Overall, Mrs. Kasha Davis lasted 3 weeks and made it to 10th place. I think this is a great finish/placement for her to rank at in this game.

Aww Lauren. But of the Survivor nominees, I def agree with her going out of those nominated. I remember liking and rooting for Lauren as an underdog, then I think I lost interest and then I kinda warmed back up to her. But yeah I think she had an invisible edit sometime around the middle portion of the season and wish we got to see her more, since yeah she did seem interesting from what we got to see of her.

Aww well, I tried my hardest to get Nigel & Katya to a good respectable spot in this game. Getting them through to the 6th cycle.... nothing to be ashamed of... and it's a fair cut amongst these nominees. He did start off with a bang with his Paso Doble. Still loved that dance and it was such a great dance to start off their run. Sadly, Nigel did have a tendency of making little mistakes in his dances and lots of his dances didn't match up to that Paso. I still thought he was a fairly good and solid dancer/performer, but I do wish he showcased more growth in his run. I did love his Couple's Choice, which was my favorite dance of his. Gah the injury he endured that made him withdraw was so sad and heartbreaking.  :broken: I do think he would have made the final with how popular he was (probably with an unofficial 2nd place finish in votes where he could have beaten Layton or Bobby), but I don't think he could have beat Ellie.
