Here’s my rankings, done after watching the auditions for a second time:

 

1.  Cyniah — she’s the type of singer I almost always vote for!
2.  Jovin — the best audition of the men.  I hope the voters take to him.
3.  Julia — she should go far in the competition with her voice and songwriter skills!
4.  Jonny — he’s definitely going farther than Margie.  I just like others more.
5.  Sarah — I liked her audition a little more than Hannah’s.
6.  Hannah — she was better than her husband.  I’m glad she made it through.
7.  Margie — last year, her voice wasn’t up to snuff but she had loads of personality.  Here, she went in the opposite direction.  She needs a balance between voice and personality in order to make the Top 20, or Top 40 for that matter.
8.  Kyle — as someone who once lived near Philadelphia, I’d like to root for him, but he’s not experienced enough to do well in Hollywood.
9.  Kay — she’s got more personality than vocal talent, at least for now.

None of them were bad. Kay was probably the weakest; based on what she did in front of the judges alone I'd have said no, but when Katy had her go out and sing to strangers she seemed more comfortable.

Nah, I think Luke would have taken him through because he's country and he was actually good.
