The libs are losing their shit over this. Luke Bryan has been trending all day, so I decided to check out some of the tweets. It is really something. I’ll bet he doesn’t care.

That's a huge crowd. Since all the money earned from Luke's Florida shows will reportedly be donated to the Florida Disaster Fund for Hurricane Ian victims, he'll probably get less bashing over featuring DeSantis than he would've otherwise.

It’s been a feeding frenzy all day. The libs want him canceled.

Luke Bryan's response

Nope. He missed the mark. Never explain yourself to the the woke mob. They’re attacking him just as much as the were yesterday. And what’s with the “polarizing figure” comment? He’s about to be re-elected in that previously purple state by a massive margin, with the help of Independent and even a larger than usual amount of Democrat votes.

EDIT: Pushaw has to be more diplomatic about it, but she didn’t like it either.

Christina's response was good. She's probably correct that liberals and "haters" are the minority (for now). Their numbers seem to be greater because they are quicker and louder about expressing themselves than conservatives. They know the squeaky wheel gets the grease—and the media attention.

Conservatives realize it's dangerous to make much noise about anything in the current climate. It might make a difference if enough banded together at once. But as long as it's only a scattered few, they can be shut down in one way or another.

The appearance was evidently the governor's idea and Luke agreed in order to help with hurricane recovery even though he knew it would cause a stir. But the fact that Luke released the statement suggests he wasn't expecting this level of freaking out over it. It's not like Luke asked the crowd to vote for DeSantis, but it seems liberals and mainstream media readily become offended and angry about everything.

It’s the tactic the left has been using for years to intimidate celebrities and corporations. It’s a relatively small number of people who make a lot of noise. A stunt like this will probably backfire, because I’m guessing a large majority of Luke’s fans are conservatives.

Locash doesn’t care, though.

Luke Bryan may have gotten bad advise (or some heat) from the people around him. Never apologize. You give the mob too much credit, as if their irrational outrageous outrage is valid.

He should have looked to how Jason Aldean and his wife handle the woke mob.

WTF…

Watch the video. Even though my work brings me to Minneapolis almost daily, I haven’t been downtown for years, and that is not an exaggeration. If you follow Rebecca’s thread, she expands on it. There were even gun shots.

This isn’t scientific, but I think it’s an example of Twitter mobs appearing to be more numerous than the are. The mob has seen it. The mob has retweeted it. The mob hasn’t quit Twitter, as they promised.

Libertarian Marc Victor and Republican Blake Masters reportedly talked about issues during a 20-minute recorded phone call on Monday. This morning, Victor dropped out of Arizona's US Senate race. Although the attorney released a YouTube video announcing his endorsement of Masters over Democratic incumbent Sen. Mark Kelly, early voting began October 12. The deadline to request a ballot-by-mail was October 28, so some mail-in ballots might have already been marked for the Libertarian candidate as well.

As of today, there have been more Republican ballots cast in Miami-Dade county than Democrat ballots. DeSantis lost that county by 20 points in 2018, and I suspect he’ll win there by at least 5.

Statewide, Republican ballots now outnumber Democrat ballots by 6%, with 4 more days of early voting.

Did you know that Biden’s “Infrastructure” bill requires a “kill switch” for new vehicles?

I never thought we'd see things like this happen in the US. The loss of freedom for law-abiding citizens in the past couple of years is mind boggling.

The question I have is, why did I have to hear about it from Christina Pushaw? Where is the House and Senate GOP? Did they even read it?

Many of them signed the bill. Some GOP representatives have been vocal in opposition to the bill but they didn't get the media coverage, not even on Fox. I only read them on Gab.

There are so many bad provisions in that Trojan Horse socialist bill and Trump have been vocal in opposing it.

The "Republicans" who signed the bill are no surprise.

30 senators voted against the bill:

both from Alabama (Shelby and Tuberville)
both from Arkansas (Boozman and Cotton)
both from Florida (Rubio and Scott)
both from Indiana (Braun and Young)
one from Iowa (Ernst)
both from Kansas (Marshall and Moran)
one from Kentucky (Paul)
one from Louisiana (Kennedy)
one from Mississippi (Hyde-Smith)
one from Missouri (Hawley, who tweeted the bill advances "Joe Biden's woke agenda under the guise of 'infrastructure'")
one from Montana (Daines)
one from Nebraska (Sasse)
both from Oklahoma (Inhofe and Lankford)
one from Pennsylvania (Toomey)
one from South Carolina (Scott)
one from South Dakota (Thune) [Rounds didn't vote either way, because he was with his wife for her cancer treatment]
both from Tennessee (Blackburn and Hagerty, who was the most vocal opponent of the bill)
both from Texas (Cornyn and Cruz)
one from Utah (Lee)
one from Wisconsin (Johnson)
both from Wyoming (Barrasso and Lummis)
