The outcome is as predictable as ever with country or country-adjacent finales almost every season. But we can't wait for Zachariah's music. He achieved so much in such a limited time, and the only way is up for him

I like Maddie as well and Michael J. Woodard from that season. Agree that this season could potentially be the best in the ABC era - I already see it as better than last season, which I stopped watching. Only 2-3 carried the show for me last year so I only watched them on Youtube.

Go get his album. It is incredible. I would’ve put him in the Top 8 and beyond - but no matter. He will always be incredible, and he left on a high note. The only way is up for him in his career

Agree with you, although Simon Cowell is the “kind” judge on X Factor UK. He puts on a persona depending on the show. On Idol he is labeled as the mean or realistic one, but on XF he acts like a fan too and supports contestants that he would normally not like on Idol. Welcome to Idol Forums by the way.

I can’t speak for all women but some women who vote for guys have female favorites. They just have a specific type of female voices they like. I’m a female, and Haley Reinhart is still my most fave from American Idol. I appreciate both female and males voices - if they sing a genre I like I will root for them. Aside from my fave guys this year I like a few girls like Kaeyra and Paige.

Great analysis. Regarding his lack of airtime, he couldn't have done anything since they didn't know the producers would give them less screen time when they were filming. Also, the producers purposefully refused to show his audition (and Malik) since they were looking for fillers in the cast. All in all, he will hopefully gain supporters that will continue long after the show.

Paige's performance Love that Noah Cyrus gave her a boost of confidence. Like Noah said, make the judges sorry for eliminating her in the first place. Hope we all did enough to get her to the Top 20.
