But Megan was super consistent also, and Colin that night was...not. I just don't see why they'd pump Will with Jesus Energy and not Colin if that's really how it's happening. He was blamed even though he didn't write the damn song. the message of the song wasn't him questioning a religious belief tho. it was a way to convey how he continously still talks to Jesus, regardless if his powers manifest immediately, because the higher being is a source of comfort for him. it painted him as more devout if anything imo lol. i think you are overthinking about Jack/Will. Some people who weren't going to pay attention to the whole song when it was actually performed would go in thinking about that line over and over, which would negatively impact him. I could've gone to Danny Gokey's but I was too young to really comprehend what that would've been like (saw him at a parade later on,) and Grace Kinstler's was sold out way too fast. I always wonder, though, what goes through the mayor's head with these.
