Maybe the coaches used the playoff pass like an automatic KO win. It does not make sense to reward the "loser" with an automatic playoff spot while the "winner" get to risk elimination in the KO. I don’t see this negatively impacting the playoff results for example. C’mon… Other than IDF, viewers seem happy that both Manasseh and Mary Kate advance to the playoffs, and even though they were not named "the winner of the battle", many thought they deserve to advance. App voters thought both Manasseh and Mary Kate won their battles. I won't be surprised if the other pass getters would also win in the app. Like I said earlier, maybe the coaches used the playoff pass as reward to the real winner, even though they named their opponent as "the winner of this battle."
