funny how I always remembered AU1 to be really bad in terms of choreography but I've been surprised with this rewatch on how many great routines there was...

 

and we're gonna end up with a pretty stellar Top 20 no matter what

Yeah the first half of the season has A LOT of foddery/bad choreography type routines though there were some standouts. But then it got much better on the second half. :yes:

Yeah, this is true. The first 3 weeks, there were a select few good routines. It wasn't until like Top 14 week where we got all of Break It Off, Fix You and the African Samba on the same night that the season started to get good.

Oooh that's true, Top 14 week was the game changer for the season. But then all of those Fusions of random styles was what really messed up the start of the season. Like styles such as Swap (Swing + Hip-Hop), Contemporary Disco, Soul Swing, etc. :dead:

LOL those were such dark times in AU1. :haha: I kind of like to erase those routines from my memory. :rofl:But yeah from Top 14 on, the show started to get good, and had some iconic routines throughout. :yes: It helps that most of fodders have been cut pre-top 10, as well.

Flashlight, Lo-Lo Dzama and Fragile have advanced to the Top 20!

 

Four routines obtained the same amount of points but there are only three spots left!!!

 

Tiebreaker round!

Each ranker must now vote for the routine, they do not want in the Top 20. The routine with the must number of points or the first one to reach six will be eliminated!

Well I would have voted for "Blackbird" as well but I didn't for Derek, so I went with my 2nd least favorite of the options. So I don't know what I'm supposed to do - as I really love the other two routines. :unsure:
