I don't usually watch these contestants-coach performances the only performances I remember are Wouldn't It Be Nice(Team Adam S9),  Fix You(Team Gwen S12)

Team Gwen, Season 12 - it fit all three voices involved really well, which is hard to do (especially with a voice like Gwen's that is pretty distinctive tonally).

I remember Adam sounding AWFUL on this performance. I think he was sick. But he got to live out his Beach Boys fantasy with Jordan in the finale that season and sounded much better.

When I first saw that clip, I thought Adam sounded off - if he were sick, that'd explain it (ENT issues are the worst, especially when your entire job relies on not having issues with any of those). And that "God Only Knows" remains one of my favorite coach/contestant duets, since you can tell both Jordan and Adam were enjoying it and their voices blended well.

 

Of the seasons still on YT, the only one I found and liked was Team Legend in S17 - they got something where Will could do some scatting without it being out-of-place, Marybeth could nail all the bits that needed to be more tender, and Katie could shine on the deeper end of things. It's still nowhere near as good as MaKenzie's KO, but topping MaKenzie's covers is a tall order for anyone's voice.

Both Alicia and Blake´s team performances in S14 were great, and showcased the capabilities of all the members involved. But I agree that Team Gwen in S12 was the best, especially considering that Gwen has a very polarizing voice suited to very specific types of songs, and this was a pleasant surprise.

 

Also enjoyed Team Adam´s  performance in S7 and Team Legend in S17.

Christina's Season 5 team performance was crazy good. But my personal favorite was Team Legend in Season 17. Love the harmonies in there, and all of them got a chance to shine.
