MTE. Although Kenzie is very good, I am not as convinced of his win as I was of some others. I think it's still b/w him and Cam - I think the lives will have something to say about the results (as opposed to Kenzie having the win guaranteed already).

I think that Kenzie has a good chance of winning, but I don't think I'm as confident as the rest of y'all on here, just 'cause his support doesn't seem to be too incredible. If he wins, congrats to y'all for being right lmao, but I think it would be a "winning the battle but losing the war" moment for many people who prefer Cam to Kenzie here.

That's my understanding too, also I think sometimes the producers allow the people to pick from a few (three?) songs as their choice, but given what Kelsie said about having to pick "You Oughta Know," I assume the choices are curated such that if they want to bus someone, all choices are bad.

I think I liked Kenzie's KO more than Dana's (@KimberlyxKyla, I know you said no Dana slander, I hope you can forgive me )

oh yeah lmao, i've experienced the same thing with multiple contestants and multiple people on here. but whether or not people agree with you, you're still entitled to your opinion consider the brave @Hamza Tufail who said that shane deserved the win over myracle and got 20+ confused reactions but still believes the same thing! it's ok to like who you want, it's just that if you say certain things on here, people might disagree (which is natural considering that this is a discussion board)

I don't think that Shalyah "annihilated" Emily, but they were both excellent, and Shalyah's powerhouse performance definitely came off as more impressive. also in general I love your commentary and the way you phrase it lmao, iconic. I always find it hilarous when y'all say one person ate another LOL

I prefer a lot of the singers they mentioned, but I don't think that all R&B/pop singers "bring some spark" and I don't think all country singers don't have that spark. I think Lauren Duski had that spark in terms of emoting a ton. However, there are R&B singers that I don't think have that spark (and I can think of one from this season, but I suspect I will get backlash from saying their name lmao). A lot of it comes down to opinion though! And we are all entitled to our own opinions for whether or not we like certain artists, and that's okay! (This post is not meant at all to be argumentative or meant to blame or anything, hopefully it doesn't come across that way! )

imo, kenzie has the potential to emote more, he just hasn't gotten a great song for that yet. he got a bro country song for the knockouts! you can't really expect people to emote a ton on that (and i thought he did a great job upping the energy to match that song, which is difficult in itself) give him an emotional ballad, and then we can talk

I came here expecting drama when I saw that the thread was locked, but it is a pleasant surprise to see that it was just off-topic conversation. I can see why you'd say that, we don't know how he would have been w song choices. But to be fair, I think that we here at IDF overestimate the importance of the coach in selecting song choices. It probably comes down to the contestant (10-25%) and the producers (75-90%), if I had to guess. However, as y'all know, I know nothing more than you guys so it's just an educated guess.

Yeah, I thought Olivia gave cleaner vocals. However, after many repeats, I found that I did enjoy the texture of Tamara's voice and the imperfections in her singing, kind of. Yeah, I didn't think that Tamara gave any great performances other than "Crazy." Even her knockout didn't do much for me.

mte, i think that carolina has the win, but emma could put up a fight. savanna didn't have the views/likes to match up to carolina anywhere. there could be people who just watch once on the show and vote, though, i have no idea how numerous they are.

The audience doesn't always reward great performances. Keisha's semifinals performance is a reminder of that.

that's one knockout that contains two performances (thus, the views for corey and ryleigh's kos would be pooled together). as opposed to three separate knockouts that contain one performance. if you consider the sum of the views for the knockout pairings of s13, there'd surely be way more than 3 (which is still greater than 1 anyway).

Don't knockouts (even the ones with two performances) rarely reach 1M nowadays (well after the season is over)? This is while the season isn't even over and they already have three performances with over 1M views.
