Well, I don't think it's a good idea to trust those comparisons, ever. Tamara wasn't Kyla. DeSz wasn't Toneisha. Dana isn't Kyla. They're all very different. I get the comparison b/w the way Kyla and Dana hit their high notes sometimes, but also sometimes Dana does it very differently. In terms of style and vocal texture, they are very different, imo.

I think that doing uptempo and doing a slower song have different things that them difficult. I prefer ballads, so I'd like to see Dana do one. I also have felt literally no emotional connection with Dana, and that's what I value a lot in performances, so that's why I'd want her to do a ballad (I really do want to like her!). The reason I wouldn't want Corey to do an uptempo, for example, is that ballads allow him to be more emotional. That being said, if Dana feels most comfortable doing uptempos, that's great! She likely won't win my support, but she'll probably be more content than if she did something she didn't want to do and I'm sure she'll have tons of supporters!

Not sure if that counts as a bus, though (and I'm sure someone is going to respond by saying that Abby never proved she could sing live from her pre-lives since that's always brought up).
