I do think Ariana would have pushed her in a more alienating direction than John and make him sing stuff from relatively obscure musicals or weird theatrical covers.... which I honestly wouldn't mind, it'll be fresher at least, but it's not gonna attract votes. Honestly I just feel like Joshua will not mesh well with the other artists, and we already know there's good rapport between them onstage. Why make it complicated?
