Given that I was ready to vote for Alanis when Ryan first said voting was open and I saw who was in this episode, that's especially discouraging. Alana wasn't someone I'd taken notice of, but these were the two best performances of the night imo, and the only reason the solo is better is because Brian McKnight was doing a poor job on his own song.
