  1. Jackie's higher end is at times unpleasant to say the least.
  2. Yeah, if he thinks that's right for him and isn't hurting anyone in the process, I don't see a problem. However, he probably extends these beliefs to others and perpetuates some homophobic views that I don't support.
  3. John pulled most of the talent on S17 and S18 outside country like y'all assume Ariana will this season but he still messed up in prelives and audience just didn't like his artist.
  4. Jane is my most streamed song for the second month in a row.
  5. Did Marybeth say Blake was her first pick?
  6. Sid and Ryan were solid throughout but never blew me away. I wouldn't mind either advancing further but didn't care much for their elimination. Carter and Cami did blow me away but only once (Rainbow Connection and Skinny Love), everything else lands in the good category (excluding The Joke obviously). I see why they advanced but I'm not rushing to YT to have it on repeat. Payge is the opposite. I wouldn't say she had a big moment that propelled her to being my favorite but every performance was pretty good, almost great. I think the show crippled her in showcasing her artistry. Desz was great! I'm not big on token divas for the season but she definitely stands out. While vocally inferior to some of the divas we had, her inventive runs, arrangements and tone really made her a frontrunner. Julia is definitely among my Top 10 favorite artist from the Voice ever! Amazing tone, great vocals, perfect lane. Poised and connected when performing. Great stage presence. Nothing but superlatives.
  7. I was floored by Sandy when it came out but since I've grown to not care for it as much. Yes, it's great but something's just off for me, idk. I really liked Katrina, Sarah and Makenzie, probably in that order.
  8. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Carter but can't deny he didn't deliver and/or didn't deserve the win, I guess. Season 19 was messy, for sure. His audition was better than Larriah's and KO, too. The battle only, Larriah really did sing circles around him. She was so connected and collected while he was struggling to find his footing in the performance both physically and vocally.
  9. I'll take it another step: Cami never lived up to her audition, not even close. Everything after was just mediocre to good with the expection of her semifinals fail.
  10. As of today, all songs on BOATS passed 100k streams on Spotify!
  11. Sundance, Chevel and Jake are country winners I like. I supposed Jake would have the least votes so I cast mine to him. Sundance probably was the most consistent out of the three and the best vocalist. Chevel probably had fewer subpar performances than Jake but Jake's moments > Chevel's moments.
  12. I don't think any of them had a very strong run without flaws, they all stumbled at least once. Most due to song choice or weird battle pairing. Some of them simply choose songs to big for them to execute.
  13. That's not a good clue, though. It should be hard to crack in a way that is a hard info to find but not literally applying to everyone left.
  14. The fact you are not even bothered to understand what you did wrong speaks volumes.
  15. This feels... odd? Not sure I'm comfortable with this thread.
  16. I had favorites in almost all genres. It doesn't really matter. For me, genre helps more to the people who are doing okay. You know, someone not amazing or bad but at least I get to listen to my favorite songs.
  17. Agree. Zan lacked power to really sell the climax of the song.
