Lauren Duski sang "the Dance" and lost to an uptempo, Chevel sang all uptempo country songs and won. Everyone on here thought Take me to Church was a bad choice for Cam. It comes down to how you perform it and how the audience reacts to the performance. It's not nearly as predictable as you (and IDF often) make it out to be.

Kenzie literally has a cover of red dirt road on his instagram, and Luke Combs isn't bro-country....just because a song is about beer doesn't make it bro country, country singers have been singing about alcohol for 100 years, the instrumentation and everything else is much more 90's country - which is popular with the show audience. Even Pete, whose IS song was a total bus chose his live song. We talk about bussing on this site way more then it actually happens.

I feel like Nick is the only one with a really clear top 2/bottom 3 (now watch me be wrong). Kelly has a really clear top 3, but all 3 have their strengths and could see it going any way (well Kenzie will be top). Blake has a very clear top 1 () and three other strong contenders all with their own pluses/minuses John has 4 good singers, but all have good cases to go through, and a chance to go home. regardless, because of format & it’s a strong cast, we’ll be saying goodbye to a minimum of two people tonight who legitimately did well last night.

If I was going to a show, I'd prefer Jordan's, because it's more my lane of music (Kenzie too)...but Cam easily outperformed him vocally I hope Cam does more acoustic vocals going forward, but he is an excellent vocalist
