Jordan finally coming through with a performance like he puts on in his live show videos. That was fun

Breathe in, breathe out. Her performance was good it wasn't all that great. I think when she continues on, she'll continue to get stronger

fixed it for you (part of this was Avery flopping...but this season might've had more balance if Kenzie was on team Blake)

This is by far Jose's best performance (and I saw his montaged KO)

I suspect with full band and backing visuals the amen will work tonight. Also the choices he’s making + the part of the song they’re doing, take away a lot of the grittiness of Hosier (which will probably turn some people off, but not the voice audience), and make it into more of a worship song (which the voice audience will mauve like)

Listened to the studios, I think it’s a breath/pace issue with Cam (which could be very bad live). It sounds like a couple of the words/notes are getting clipped at the beginning (note Hozier does this as well)

I think it speaks more to the producers generally not wanting to bus people on TK. While Kelly is a lovely wonderful human, she does not get to overrule producers (nor do any of the other coaches).

It depends on who she (& other coaches) are willing to turn for. If there are 4 chair turn country artists, she’s unlikely to get them. Otoh, knowing that, she might not turn for them. Also I’d be pretty surprised if John wasn’t able to beat her for some of the age 30+ r&b artists

I think he’s chummier with men close to his age and that makes sense......heck half the time he’s friendly to a white female (who isn’t a teenager) it turns into tabloid gossip. Same thing happened to Adam (Mary Sarah and Amy V are prime examples) As to his preferences, I’m not sure I agree. With the paucity of female country singers on the show, adult men tend to be his strongest contestants. I think he was definitely happy to work with Toneisha, he clearly liked wtw until they folded live, and he’s basically set Cam up in every round with relatively weak opponents. For CS Blake will probably pick whomever had one of the top two performances (in his opinion, which might not be IDF’s )

He hasn’t known Pete for 25 years though, he knew Pete sort of 25 years ago. I’m sure they enjoy working together on the voice, and are friendly...but I don’t get the impression Blake has any special loyalty to Pete. He’s a guy he used to know.

Gods country is a bigger hit, and also feels less personal. And there was another connection

Black like me is a beautiful song, but Dana hasn’t presented herself as country at all (not that this song is particularly country). So it would feel weird if she covered it

Anything Alan Jackson tbh, Garth for purposes of this competition only, doesn’t seem to do as well. And if he sang conway’s tight fitting jeans I would die laughing. Johnny cash might be an interesting choice
