It feels like they're getting everything ready really early. From the filming schedule, you'd really think Monday was the live show, not a week from Monday. Also if they're having a ten year anniversary road to the lives, I really hope they actually lean into the ten year anniversary part, and include performances/interviews with contestants and coaches from the past ten years. Having Nick talk about the show's history is just awkward

yeah, I was excited about Taryn, and think she got a bit of a raw deal in the battle, but unfortunately by the time KO's and lives rolled around her voice wasn't at its best, and I think she would've had a hard time advancing regardless.

I mean Blake saved WTW, who are all country females.... Of the country females he's dumped for guys, which deserved to win? He was blocked from Mary Beth (who then left country on team John). I wish he hadn't paired Taryn and WTW against each other (and wish he'd chosen Taryn as the winner), but the two country females are also an obvious pairing. Leaving aside coaches, I can't remember the last country female I was really excited about after hearing the blind, that's the big problem, and it comes down to casting. Your argument seems to boil down to, Blake should choose mediocre country female singers, just because they're country females, regardless of who was the better vocalist. Personally, I would prefer strong country female vocalists who don't need coach charity to move on.

For all the talk about “country” on the show, as a fan of female country, it continuously shocks me how few country females actually are brought in for blinds. And even rarer are ones that are truly elite (when you hear their stuff after the spoilers you go, oh yeah, they’re a big threat). and yes, Lauren 100% counts and makes 5 even without debating cassadee

Different style, but I'd definitely put Chris S ahead of him vocally. It's also hard because I vocally prefer people like Isbell who I think do a better job with the storytelling. And someone like Chris Young, or Shay...are great technical vocalists, but I'm not big fans of their music. Chris Young covering traditional country is a treat though. Kenzie is clearly an excellent vocalist, but I think it might be more accurate to say that the mainstream male country music circuit doesn't really emphasize pushing oneself vocally. A number of the current crop are very good vocalists if you hear them cover older stuff,

Lol did you see that Cam performance? Zero chance it was ever getting montaged. They did short clip Connor. The montage was only ever going to be Jordan/Ethan or raine/jose. They like to keep some country in each episode to make the core demo happy, and Jordan had the best performance of the four. They’ve shown the coaches debating artistry vs voice before. Sometimes the simplest explanations are the correct one, it was montaged bc it was one of the weaker ones.

Their are sources at nearly every taping (even if they don’t always spill tea ahead of time).

This, like for instance Blake being aggressive would be basically a first in 20 seasons of the show. Also, it would have been very easy for them to edit, and heck they could’ve re-shot some of the coaches discussion if they couldn’t edit it all out. I get feeling frustrated at being montaged, and I have no doubt she’s being honest, but we all see things through our own lenses. One KO was always being montaged, And given the various performances + steals, this one was always a likely candidate.

What did she think of cam and Kenzie?

I can’t believe they assembled this cast, and then only gave us three weeks of lives

The lives are the acid test, but at least through the KO, this is a really strong cast.
