I do that too. Maybe it doesn't count if less than a certain time. 🙂

 

Her likes and ratio are pretty good though, so the views may be not skewed. But we don't know if she's getting a good portion of her views/likes from outside US, and may not translate to votes.

Making it known that Nini obtained U.S. citizenship probably helped her.

I don't think that matters to many voters/watchers of The Voice; if they like her, they'd vote for her. But with the one vote rule, it is hard to predict how the votes would go. There will be vote splitting, especially between contestants in similar lanes. Ruby probable got the lion's share of the country vote, and that may put Jacquie and Jordan at risk of landing in the bottom 4.

 

In past seasons, Google trends and Facebook likes seem to show the trend on how the votes would go. YT, IG and Twitter were all over the place. We'll see tonight if any social media metric comes close to predicting the results.

CocoaPuffs, thank you for aggregating all the various lists--great work!  When incorporating YouTube, did you only use RTV's ranking based just on volume of views?  If you could kindly also factor in season1's lists based on # of likes, and views/likes ratio, that would be really cool!  I think both are quite important, as you could view a video, but that doesn't tell us how the viewer responded to said vid.  Maybe the title was click bait, then they immediately clicked away = zero or minimal engagement. Or they viewed the vid and found it meh, or maybe they clicked thumbs down on it.  But if they clicked on like, then that's positive engagement, and positive engagement = higher chance of vote engagement (though not in any way a guarantee of that, of course).  In this case, incorporating YT likes I'm thinking might boost Lila and Kara somewhat (high engagement), at Jacquie's expense (low engagement).  I know it's a lot of work, but I reckon the best way to do it would be to combine the 3 YT lists into 1 first, then incorporate that into your main. If it's too much work, probably not worth it etc., no problem, totally understandable!  Thanks anyways.

Dany's Google trends data is also very cool, and definitely shows engagement (and I think quite a high chance of voting engagement).  Top 5 based on the averages bar chart (little one on the left) is: Bias, Mara, Huntley, Lila, Jordan, in that order. This would boost Bias, Lila and Jordan.  Harder to incorporate though, as Dany only did a Top 5.  Cheers!

Current views on The Voice YouTube and tonight's results are the same. When I checked Tuesday afternoon, Tanner was ahead of BIAS by about 2K views. At that time, Nini was still ahead of Ruby and Kara was ahead of Jordan. Nobody else changed position.

Metrics that predicted 3 of the B4:

Facebook - Kara, Tanner, Azan [Lila and Jordan were practically even, with Jordan slightly ahead.]

TikTok - Azan, Tanner, Jordan [Kara at mid-pack and BIAS at bottom are big misses.]

YouTube Likes - Tanner, Azan, Jordan [Kara was ranked 7th, ahead of BIAS and Jacquie, with a small lead in likes].

YouTube Views (before results) - Jordan, Kara, Azan [Tanner was 4k ahead of BIAS in views, but tied in likes].

I think that's the top 4. Mac is up in the air considering he's very close to literally everyone below him, but his lead over them will only grow since he performed late.

Note that in the S23 Finale, FB likes and ratio had Grace winning and Gina in 3rd.
