searomordep Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 When Asha said she would sing a Rita Ora song, I thought "It won't be, but it would be great if it was RIP", and then it was exactly that, tonight it happend again, when Xanthe said she would sing a Billie Eilish song I thought "please don't one of those that everyone sing, Happier than ever would be the perfect choice". Someone648 Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 Bri Dodd (9/10) - Interesting tone but she made it work! I actually enjoyed this a ton by the end. Theoni Marks (8.5/10) - Excellent job tackling the song of the year! Definitely one of Rita's strongest. Finnian Johnson (8/10) - I like his tone but I don't think this was the right song to show it off. I get the moments where it worked but there were too many moments where it felt unnecessary. Xanthe Campbell (7/10) - Not powerful enough for the song and too bAnAnIeS and awvocadies for me. Truthfully a 6/10 but +1 for actually saying "sh*t" in the song. tovls Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Expectation regarding callbacks for team KEITH: 1- Zoe 2- Melanie 3- Thando 4- Jay 5- Danny/Lane Even though I think one of Zoe/Melanie will be eliminated from his team (hopefully keeping Zoe) I think they both will pass the callbacks. Also, I think Jay will be chosen over Chriddy (occupying same style of music). I also think Ethan will definitely be eliminated in this round (even though I adored his BA), facing Melanie and Zoe, he doesn't stand a chance. My favorite of the night. Bri and Xanthe sounded fresh and interesting. I like Finnians voice. I appreciate that his fake twang wasn’t too overbearing. Not a favorite but I’m curious to see what he does next. Ranking teams by talent 1)Team Keith 2)Team Jess 3)Team Guy 4)Team Rita Good news is each team has at least a couple contenders coming out of the blinds. Team Keith being the most competitive.
