Amanda Lee Peers released a video about her journey on The Voice from the VERY beginning. Queen of being transparent. I wish more contestants would reveal things about their process and song choices There’s nothing immoral or damaging against the show (and alot of it is already kinda known) but if you’re into finding out about behind the scenes Voice stuff this could be a good video. I found it interesting I only learned a few new things from this video. She actually goes into more detail on her blog Things that interested me from the video -She said in the comments section contestants get full travel expenses paid AND they get paid for airtime. I was aware of travel expenses but I’m not sure how much they get paid for airtime…I’m guessing not too much I would also like to know if contestants who get montaged get paid for airtime and how that works. I would assume yes -Gwen is was actually quite shy and nervous during season 7 -Amanda taped during the first blind audition taping -The most interesting of all was that finding out the parings and Coaching time with Gwen happens a full month before the battle. They literally went home after they taped the coaching segment and came back later in the summer to film the battles I knew there was space between coaching and battles but I didn’t know that the contestants fully went home. Must’ve changed at some point since then

Ive searched quite extensively for a missing Reina who sings in Spanish and have found nothing I’ve tried variations on it as well Reina, Rayna, Rheina, Riena, Rhiena, Rene, Renee Either she isn’t following other contestants yet or the source misremembered her name. Or her Instagram handle is not her name Steven is a generic name and searching for that is going to be quite an undertaking I haven’t looked that closely into the missing Kayla yet because that’s also probably going to be a big undertaking (there’s so many variations on Kayla) I found a Kayla who sings and follows 2 other contestants but it looks like she wasn’t in LA during the blinds

I’m pretty sure Kevin is on Team Legend He posted on his story Johns new music video His most recent story was of him and the going “Going Back To Cali” playing Since Team John apparently hasn’t flown out it seems logical

That’s certainly the staircase he even tagged LA as the location (I now have it stuck in my brain thanks to Sasha Allen’s TikToks last season lololol) That picture was from the 13th but I really hope he passed the blinds He has a really current look and voice plus he can singggggg. That’s a great combo. We need more marketable contestants on the show even if the label is crap

Although it’s sad (and lowkey wrong) that Gwen might not have a 4 chair artist this year It doesn’t really matter if the rest of her team is good and Daysia sounds really good. Gwen usually has a young contestant she treasures and takes far so Daysia for sure someone to keep an eye on for the time being

Lol since y’all were suspicious of new social media rules this season Maybe one of those rules is you have to try and deceive fans once they find you out

I think she lives in LA now though But another possibility is that because she’s been on the show before she has experience with this kind of thing

Kim’s story indicates she’s somewhere it’s 103 degrees. It’s not 103 degrees in LA. Maybe they aren’t flying out by team this year?? Because it seems like other Team Blake members are flying out Another thing I’m skeptical of is Emily Bass being on this season. Her social media presence has been odd, but it’s not indicative of someone being on The Voice. Also she’s currently releasing new music. While the new music rules aren’t completely clear to us…that seems like a red flag

Also Although we have minimal information about Team Legend. I’m just realizing-all these front runners and contestants remembered by source. None are Team Legend. It might be possible he’ll go 6 seasons without cracking the top 2 Ill reserve judgment on that until we have more info

So glad to be back at it !! -We have very few spoilers and it already appears as if Camilla is SIGNIFICANTLY more successful than Nick, Ariana or most new coaches. I wonder why that is. Either producers nudged artists in that direction (they’re allowed to encourage just not directly tell a contestant who to pick) But if Camila did this of her own accord then I’m very excited to see what she does this season -Emily Bass was shown apartment shopping in LA in a recent post so it’s hard to tell if she’s actually through because she apparently lives there now -I see we have some duos this season. I don’t expect The Dryes (or Marilynds if confirmed) to make it far. They’re both country/country adjacent and since that was the direction last season it probably won’t happen again right now

Separate I’ve listened to more of Camilas music and quite of a few of her songs could potentially work quite well on the show Something’s Gotta Give, All These Years, Feel It Twice, This Love, and Everyone At This party. All I could hear on the show

I agree with this tbh. We’ve seen how far the show goes with supporting artists. So I guess it can be more lucrative to have a positive relationship with your coach than to find success on the show What if it’s Blake I’ve seen things on here that there’s lots of country this season and Kelly’s gone….plus he does have the best track record of all the coaches I’m not sure though. Without the spoilers and without knowing how Camilla pitches, it really could be anyone

I agree with the top 4 we got during season 17 Overall, it was not my favorite group of liveshow contestants we’ve ever seen and the live performances that season were overall kinda underwhelming. But in the end the finalists were the most consistent out of that batch Now the result during the actual final on the other hand… (a Rose and Jake top 2 would’ve been )

I agree that the song has had a big impact but I wouldn’t call him the most successful voice contestant of all time. Cupid shuffle was a song successful way before The Voice and it’s continued success isn’t to do with The Voice. I feel like most people who still listen to it aren’t even aware he was on The Voice. Cupids Shuffle was a one hit wonder so that song is the only measure of success Also it feels less like him auditioning for the show was less to do with the intention of winning rather a fun moment for the show to have Cupid Shuffle performed on The Voice. If he wanted to breakaway from Cupid Shuffle why not do a different song But I do see your point if you look at his presence on the show alone

Not forgotten but it definitely deserves more attention (less than 200k views on YouTube ??) Easily my fav performance of Dana’s. Energetic, dynamic, and very memorable This sounded good but was also very enjoyable to watch

My favorite Coldplay song is Green Eyes. And honestly that’s a song that could quite easily work on the show (if given the chance of course) Samuel Harness would’ve had a moment with that tbh

Hailey didn’t start becoming a dark horse until the live shows Yes, Hailey was more of a voter magnet than Raquel but in that moment it wasn’t a “path to the final”. Also Kelly has a knack for succeeding with younger contestants so that might also be part of Haileys success on the show Stealing Carson in the knockouts would’ve been strategic on a season with such little country competition. She could’ve had the male country lane to herself, but I’m not really sure he would’ve made the final I voted for giving (Holly) better songs Because Holly should’ve been able to sail to semi finals. And after that the final was not out of reach for her. I’m not sure how much of that was Ariana, Holly, or TPTB though
