Bk1234
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the Instagram links no longer embed.
miss denise
Yes, I have noticed this for the last week or so. I always get this error when I try: Previously embedded Instagram posts also now only show up as blank space. Hopefully we can get this fixed @Tom I haven't noticed issues with embedding Twitter or anything else.

KelseyW
This is annoying but hopefully the Instagram linked posts can be fixed!
Elliott
It might be something on Instagram's end. They've changed their policies on embedding posts.
Tom
Looks like it's a widespread issue but Invision is aware of it so hopefully there will be an update to fix it soon. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/459255-instagram-embeds-not-working/ I'll install the latest update tonight so that Instagram links will at least be clickable for the time being. As soon as they put out an update for the Instagram bug, I'll make sure to get it installed. 1

I've noticed that it also isn't working on a few other sites so it's good to know that it isn't just isolated to us. 4

istersay
this issue is still happening, hoping there is a way to get them to work on here, there is a support thread with a new plugin, not sure if this is what's needed? @Tom https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/459898-instagram-and-facebook-oembed-support-topic/

Barbisold
Oh, cool. I love mutual Instagram subscriptions. In my opinion, this is a good way to find new friends and increase the number of subscribers.
Murikbro
Hmm. Yes, I remember that too, and to be honest, I think it would be the right decision to ban posting links to Instagram. It seems to me that this platform has already outlived itself. Now it exists only to promote content and advertising. Now users often prefer faster and more diverse content as in Tik Tok. Therefore, I am sure that Instagram would have completely lost popularity if the ability to post links had been removed from there. I think this social network is outdated. I decided to make Instagram Aufrufe kaufen a couple of years ago because I had a business in Germany at that time. But when I decided to advertise my business in Tik Tok, it gave me much more profit. Um not sure what you remember, and don't think links to IG will be banned here ever.
