ShortstopVM 64
At $5/month, I'm seriously considering Peacock just for the additional English Premier League matches (when the EPL restarted over the Summer, some of their matches were put on the free Peacock)... I also have a hunch that NBC might put some live Olympic events on Peacock... Edited September 30, 2020 by ShortstopVM

anticoronaperson 94
I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between Peacock and NBC was. I'm a little confused on how they are different. So if anyone was able to explain, I might have an easier time understanding then.

Peacock is owned by NBC, so they have NBC programs, but they also have their own Peacock originals and non-NBC content. Here is some more information that may be helpful: Quote Peacock is designed to be a one-stop shop for fans of NBC comedies and dramas, live sports (like Premiere League Soccer), Universal Studios films, and a host of new original content. Peacock is also set to be the exclusive stream home of The Office once Netflix’s licensing deal for the show expires in 2021. The good news is you get a lot with Peacock TV Free. The free tier will offer new episodes of NBC hits one week after they air, samples of Peacock originals, access to live news from NBC News Now and Sky News, exclusive genre channels such as TODAY All Day, and selected sporting events for free. https://decider.com/2020/07/14/peacock-tv-free-vs-peacock-premium/ Quote Peacock is a nod to NBC's longtime logo and mascot. Strauss said that calling the service Peacock was meant as an homage to NBC, but he stressed that the service is licensing lots of non-NBC content too. "We did not call this service NBC Plus. We called it Peacock. In many ways, that was by design," he said. "Pay homage to NBCUniversal but not be limited to just NBCUniversal content." https://www.cnet.com/news/peacock-tv-free-premium-streaming-app/

Elliott 4,158
Peacock isn’t a thing in Canada (thankfully the “every company has their own streaming platform” craze hasn’t come up North yet), but Global aired the SBTB reboot and I really enjoyed it! I thought it was going to be terrible based off the initial trailers they released, so I was glad to be proven wrong. Hopefully there’s a second season.

It got cheesy when they included the original cast like in the time capsule episode. But I like cheese.
