I see some hope he can make the finale by the save which is maybe just me being delusional. If the other three coaches are already represented by artists that got public votes, they'd push for Samuel, for sure. It will depend on his competition, too. Other than being on Team Legend, the thing that gives me a pause is him being an alternative pop artist which the core audience doesn't really support to the end that often. Still, I'm sure we're getting at least 6 more performances from him and that's something!

i DON'T REALLY CARE, SORRY 20. Katie Rae - i don't see the appeal, i thought her blind didn't deserve a chair turn (sorry for being harsh), also felt she brought the battle with bella down as a whole, knockout was decent but still feels like fodder for lives 19. Lana Scott - had some decent moments but wasn't memorable, honestly got lucky her partner flopped, otherwise wouldn't have made lives 18. Peedy Chavis - his audition grew on me but his presence still feels gimmicky and his vocals in last two rounds weren't as good, i don't see a reason to put him any higher tbh 17. Ryleigh Plank - great presence and has great potential but i don't think she displayed it, her vocals were far from perfect almost every round, dislike her tone 16. Raquel Trinidad - are upbeat songs holding her back? on paper, she seems like someone i'd love but her solo performances failed to leave an impression on me, felt very karaoke, her battle was good and she did deserve to win that though ON THE RIGHT TRACK, ALMOST THERE 15. Jim and Sasha - KO showed some promise but still waiting for a moment 14. Jeremy Rosado - his battle was epic but solo performance have some issues with dynamics, he can go both big and soft but I don't think he knows when to do which to sell a performance 13. Shadale - KO was very good but i feel like we've seen a pop diva with some r&b influence many times before done better, lacks the uniqueness gymani's blind showed 12. Hailey Mia - great maturity and control for a teen but that's where i'm at with her, not a Carter or Brynn situation where I thought they're ready to go against adults and Hailey's battle with Raquel showed that, tone wins her some points with me 11. Holly Forbes - nice combination of tone and vocals, got decent songs so far but didn't have a moment like everyone listed above her 10. Paris Winningham - keeps on getting better and proving me wrong but there's still a part of me that sees him as the token R&B guy of the season 9. David Vogel - a breath of fresh air, cool, KO was a step in the right direction, let's see if he can live up to it I'd LOVE IF YOU MADE IT PAST THE PLAYOFFS 8. Wendy Moten - queen of vocals but idk not for me i guess, i don't see much artistry in her performances but at least we know she'll deliver, only reason she's this high tbh 7. Gymani - epic audition, everything after not so much, go back! 6. Joshua Vacanti - shows great potential, just turn down the drama, tone was amazing in KOs 5. Libianca - cool and different just think a little more about some stylistic choices SNOWFLAKES 4. Bella DeNapolli - that KO was hella rough and bumped here down for me, don't do that ever again and we're good, here solely for first two rounds 3. Jershika Maple - she keeps on getting better, knows control and has vocals for days 2. GNT - just a smidgen under Samuel, amazing on all three rounds 1. Samuel Harness - king!

Corey's performance was a mess and a half.

Jershika's song choice will fit her voice like a glove. I'm very excited to see her performance. Also, interested in Jeremy and Xavier. We already knew Bella's song choice and she mentioned doing her own spin on it in the video as we assumed. I'm a little nervous for her but hoping for the best.

I find it interesting that they didn't show all the coaches standing for Shadale in the same shot, like they did for GNT. It looks really cool and to the causal viewer it may give an impression of a true showstopper.

I really liked her first two performances so I obviously have some fantasies of her making it far but her audition wasn't that well received on facebook. To answer this question, I think it's crucial we see her KO and the reception it gets.

At the very least, she'd win the save to get in the finale. I don't see her missing out nor do I see her winning.

I'm certain they'll make Top 10 at least but the rest does depend if they can do live what they've done so far. If so, I'd assume a Top 4 finish is guaranteed but I'm not so sure yet but wouldn't rule it out.

I don't see a 'storyline' for Blake to win with Wendy they can sell, tbh. He just won with Cam, who is as different from him as Wendy, it's nothing we haven't seen in a while. I assume they're going to use Wendy to close the playoffs ensuring a good closer and then go all Katie Kadan on her with the song choices.

Wendy, GNT, Samuel and Bella would probably be one of the better finales we ever had.

I know but given the fact that Samuel crushed it and Brittany was very underwhelming and isn't some who is usually very supported by the core audience, the worry is justifiable

Absolutely not, but the prelives are structured in a way to compare singers in similar lanes and choose the better one. We have divas stylistically close to Brittany this season and she just wasn't as good as some of them. I agree the pairing with Samuel was a bit odd but still with Wendy and Gymani (I'd add Jershika but the audience isn't that fond of her it seems) on this season, it was always going to be a short ride for Brittany.

While Katie wouldn't be my first choice for replacement, I don't really see an issue with Brittany going home before lives. We have many powerhouses this season and most are better than her. It's better to have diversity, imo.
