I wouldn't count Jeremy as a lock to make Top 13. His performance wasn't technically strong as I thought it'd be. He could easily crumble. Also, I thought Hailey Mia's presence would be more mature. Based on auditions only, I'd say GNT made the best case to be considered a lock.

I don't know, Gymani's version grew on me more than I expected, tbh. The battle is iconic, still Ryleigh carried, Gean imo underperformed and was a background singer to me. Might be the recency bias but I'd might lean Gymani.

He has more reacts and more than double the shares than GNT on the FB repost.

If the source were Arianators or just young, they wouldn't mistake good 4 u for anything else. It's a huge hit.

Also, I'd like to note, it was much easier for Blake and Adam, though I personally don't make a difference, a lot of the audience wouldn't appreciate Blake calling Kelly a jackass or making fun of her outfit. That was most of the 'Shevine' banter. Looking back, it was also very repetitive but it worked.

You don't get what I'm saying. This was about Gymani's coach pick and you claimed Ariana has a known power to give platforms and used that as an argument she should've picked Ariana. Yet all proof of this power is from after the show aired. Gymani could've went of speculation but not from knowing something. That's it, I'm done.

All true, I still don't think Ariana's pitch was bad. She was amazed and genuinely emotional. Gymani had to have to known her audition would get traction and rejecting a coach with a decent pitch whose song you just sang would lead to some backlash. She would be taking a risk but the producers do everything anyway.

I'm interested if anyone enjoys the Kelly and Blake banter. I like a snarky comment here and there but not their back and forth bickering that doesn't stop like Lana's audition. What's even worse is that they always use the same jokes, punchlines and comebacks. It was sorta entertaining the first few seasons. Anyway, I see a lot of people complaining and none really stating they enjoy it, find it funny etc. There were always positive comments when Adam and Blake went at it, for comparison.

Yeah, Cam's blind is more enjoyable for to repeat and listen occasionally, though neither are contestants I'd follow after the show. I just respect the monstrous vocal performance Wendy showcased but that's all, I've listened to it twice and I'm good.

Cam has more artistic flavor, better taste with runs, smoother tone, is more current overall and more likely to be a star but in terms of pure vocal power, Wendy would mop the floor with him.

Yeah, agree. Also, I don't see quotas working longer than three weeks leading up to the finale which is less than the old format. In the end, the more performance the better, regardless of placement. Yeah, he was received well enough last night that I think he can make semis, especially in a season with no obvious minivan threats.

If quotas were a guarantee Samuel makes the finale, I wouldn't mind, tbh.

On the topic of Arianators coming at Gymani, some are actually nice about it and are trying to justify (not that's needed) Gymani's choice. The thing that made me laugh out loud is that one of the arguments they're using is "she's an alto like Kelly". Alto like Kelly...

Averages of my scores from the other thread, Team Ariana - 4.6 (this week, they filled her team with fodder, I don't see any of them being a serious threat, obviously would love to be proven wrong, the average is taken down by Katie and Chavon, not saying they were extremely bad but simply not enjoyable for me at all, the duo has potential but they are already clearly overshadowed by GNT) Team Kelly - 7.625 (loved GNT, intrigued by Gymani and respect her as a vocalist, the other two are fodder in my mind) Team Blake - 7.625 (I respect Wendy a whole bunch but she isn't someone I root for, Peedy showed potential, he just needs to showcase more of himself, Hailey has serious potential going forward, too) Team Legend - 7.8 (Samuel is my favorite as of now, really liked Jonathan, and intrigued by Joshua but he needs better songs)
