  1. He's probably the one I'm most indifferent about that's still in the competition. However, I get he has a bad song this week but his FB stats were Top 3 in both live shows. He's in no danger. Also, it's a worship song so strategically it might not even be a bad song.
  2. Most sopranos that come on the show struggle to hit that note. Also, someone mentioned Holly was sick when she recorded the studio but is feeling fine now. Idk if we can trust that but maybe she'll do it live then. She promised more range than we've ever seen plus it'd be pretty anticlimactic to do this song if you're going to dodge the iconic high note.
  3. I just listened to their (or Bekah's) cover of Saint Honesty and I'm floored. They have to do it on the show. Wow!
  4. Imo, this week she had a shot to escape the bottom if she went all out with the song choice, like Unbreak My Heart. I prefer that song for Jershika so I'm glad she isn't doing it but this week it being only a bottom two, it wasn't impossible but Diamonds won't cut it.
  5. Wendy or Lana open. Nobody on Team Kelly or Blake has a song that, at least on paper, seems like a good closer. J&S ain't closing, we all know that. They could let Joshua close, he's proven to deliver even if he has a greater task than usual. I love Joshua but I have to admit he could be in danger and assuming they don't want him out this is the only way to ensure it. His song screams closer the most. I assume they want Jershika around for a while longer too but she doesn't seem to need it yet.
  6. The only way I could see Gymani escaping it is if both Lana and Holly flop hard. I assume only one will.
  7. I agree that Jeremy's song goes nowhere. We'll see if they give him the death spot again. Do they want him out before the semis or just fear he could mess up the IS results? I couldn't imagine him ever being in overall Top 3 votes, even after WIWYM. Still, he's singing CCM and is well liked so far, no way he is B2 this week. I see Lana or Holly joining Gymani in the bottom, and frankly neither seems likely to beat her. It seems Wendy's unsure what to do, and I see Paris overtaking as Blake's frontrunner if he hasn't already. I see a moment happening for Hailey. Joshua and Jershika could've gotten better songs but both will sail through. Also, Jershika's saving Unbreak My Heart for the semis pimp spot.
  8. Has Lana hinted anything? I think she might be out this week if she doesn't get a good song. Last week, she had a classic, did it decent enough in a good spot and still generated very little buzz.
  9. It's very likely Gymani will win the save this week but the week after I think GNT, Jeremy and Hailey are getting a PV so they'll pull all the stops to make sure she is eliminated that week and Kelly doesn't have half the contestants in the Top 8. I know there's only so much they can do but that week I assume she could have some serious competition like Joshua or Jeshika
  10. I think the lower end would be his problem again. I don't think he'd struggle massively but I'm not sure if the risk is worth the payoff.
  11. I agree. So many people feel like bloodbath Middle 3 material. Jeremy, Hailey, Jershika, Wendy, Holly and Paris. Obviously, either Paris or Wendy will get the PV. I don't think both are getting the PV but the other one has a pretty good chance of winning the save. Also, if Kelly doesn't get two finalists this year, she never will. Everything just aligns this season except the audience's obsession with Blake. If she doesn't get two this season, it's just not a possibility.
  12. Shadale - Breathe - 5.5 Gymani - Sweet Love - 9 Ryleigh Plank - Dangerous Woman - 2 Team Legend - Don't You Worry Bout a Thing - 9 Team Kelly - U Move, I Move - 10
  13. I think Joshua will bounce back next week if he gets a better known song. Also, I'd say he is pretty reliable to deliver.
  14. I think Taylor would be better than Ariana for the show. She may be a lesser vocalist but she is and acts way more mature and could seem like a mentor figure even to older contestants. She is very eloquent and obviously a brilliant songwriter. Obviously, the panel had much diverse days than now and actually bringing Taylor would make it more diverse, imo. Ariana is a pop diva like Kelly and also has some soulful influences like John (and Kelly to a lesser extent). Not that I think Taylor would do it, though.
  15. What they want is clearly not what's happening. But on this occasion, I agree. Their performances shouldn't have carried them this far.
  16. 1. GNT 2. Jershika 3. Joshua 4. Hailey Mia 5. Gymani 6. Paris 7. Wendy 8. Holly 9. Jeremy 10. Lana 11. Jim&Sasha
  17. Since Kelly has four next week and also Top 11 is when they often let their TCO close I can see GNT closing. To add on that, I think they've played themselves by letting Holly close now. She'll need it in the semis, without it I think she could be immediately eliminated.
  18. the fact they set up the IS twice for Ariana to win and she couldn't is lowkey hilarious
  19. Not to be rude but my perfect outcome for tonight would be to have an Ariana and Holly duet next week.
  20. Yeah, still I don't think should've made bloodbath if it wasn't for that moment. If she a pop song instead she'd probably be in the bottom that week. It didn't buy her a ticket to the finale but at least one more round.
  21. ITS A NO FROM ME.. Jim and Sasha - Your Song - messy, pitchy, uninteresting Ryleigh Plank - Rhiannon - also messy and pitchy, i don't think it landed but it was creative Shadale - Life Is a Highway - bandzilla ate her up, she gave a lot of effort and had some okay moments so there's that Jeremy Rosado - Because You Loved Me - at this point i'm done with excessive emoting and wobbly vocals DECENT, BUT DON'T WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN Wendy Moten - Blue Bayou - most of the performance was very sleepy, the upper stuff felt out of place, obviously vocally good but that alone doesn't do it for me Holly Forbes - The Dance - a step up but the second half could've been much better, not very memorable Hailey Mia - I'll Stand By You - some gorgeous moments, some off, i appreciate the artistry Paris Winningham - What's Going On - bandzilla, felt generic but he sounded good Lana Scott - Humble and Kind - surprise of the night! not very memorable but very good STANDOUTS Gymani - Made a Way - second half was epic but the first was a little off and odd, maybe graded lower than she should've been because it was right after Jershika Joshua Vacanti - You Will Be Found - the opening was way too low and it went for too long for me to rank him any higher but when he went up till the end it was gorgeous Girl Named Tom - Dust in the Wind - we're back! this is it, the boys could've been a smidgen better and were too loud at one point but i appreciate the arrangement overall Jershika Maple - God Only Knows - yes! the only complaint is that some of low stuff could've been arranged better but it wasn't bad
