The case of IDF with gender from what I´ve noticed: The males who are usually hated here tend to be the country ones, the teenage boys, and to a lesser extent, the R&B ones. The pop/alternative males like Matt McAndrew, Hunter, Noah and Max are popular. As for females, IDF LOVES indie/alternative girls, (Addison, Maelyn, Zan, etc), they don´t hate country females nearly as much as the males, in fact they are quite loved, and they tend to like teenage girls unless they are way too green, but they are definitely less harsh on them than the guys. Overall, IDF definitely prefers the women overall , every season there´s a universal snowflake/s and it´s almost always a girl (S10: Alisan, S11: Ali/Wé, S12: Lauren, S13: Addison/Brooke/Janice, S14: Kyla, S15: Mackenzie/Kennedy, S16: Maelyn, S17: Rose, S18: Joanna/Zan) , as opposed to guys (S12: Hunter, S13: Noah, S17: Max), so that´s why I was expecting the poll to favor Team Waffle more lol.

I have had more male favorites over the years (mainly because of genres I enjoy), but as a whole I don´t care. A good voice is a good voice, no matter the gender. (BTW, I expected this to be a massacre in favor of Team Waffle, considering this is IDF )

Also Tennesee Whiskey, if you sing the "you are as warm" run part decently, you are guaranteed a chair turn or a spot in the next round

I hope the originals are good. I know TStorm has a bunch of good originals himself, hopefully they don't hand him a basic pop beat and lyrics.

TPTB will definitely want to give the new coach a win. I don´t remember when was the last time that one of Blake´s contestants was pimped to victory tbh. Either way it will be a close fight between the two of them.

This. I think he could sing The Sound of Silence but make it his own like he did with Rainbow, stay away from the Disturbed Version. David Draiman is just insane.

Yes I´m leaning more towards Thunderstorm at the moment, but it will be one hell of a fight. We´ll have to wait till Monday when we see the song choices. Todd hasn´t even pulled the Joe Cocker and the gospel card yet which would make the votes pour over him, and TStorm has "Hallelujah" under his belt still, a song he´s extremely comfortable with , in which he sounds fantastic in and will also get him tons of votes. Let´se who ´s more estrategic or who TPTB favors.

She would have probably missed the finale then. Or would have needed the instant save to get there. Minivan didn´t like Jennifer at all.

Its still obvious that TPTB brought back the team quotas to avoid her getting shut out of the finale (CammWess with the pimp spot and a song like Rainbow could have nabbed the PV anyways or could have won the instant save). Micah would have definitely had to sing for the save, and I don´t think he would have gotten it with either Toneisha or Camm there.

Agree with this, that was his best team since S11 imo, sadly they were on the season when he was a dead man walking. And the worst part is that they joined his team before the robe incident happened (since the blinds fo S16 were filmed before the live shows of S15), so they didn´t expect any of this to happen when they chose him.

And yet next season he will leave the blinds again with the strongest team full lf 4 chair turns because everybody wants him. Hell Allegra and Joanna wanted him as well. (Joanna said she chose Nick because he fought for her, she wanted to be stolen by John later)

From what I've seen on IDF Todd's not really loved here but he's certainly less hated than the usual male country singer on Team Blake, and especially compared to his reception in Mj's blog, they hate him to pieces there.

In IDF we love to hate on the coaches decisions , what do you think has been THE single dumbest mistake a coach did, that could have or actually has cost them a season. Adam- Dropping Josh Kaufman in S6, who went on to win the season. Blake- Dropping Corey Jackson in S17, who could have given Hoot a run for his money. Pharrell- The direction he made Luke Wade take in S7, those song choices ugh. Alicia- Dropping Michael Sanchez in S11, who definitely would have been better recieved that Sara'yah. Gwen- keeping Ryan Sill for as long as she did. Christina- The direction she made Matthew Schuler take. "When a Man loves a Woman" really? Miley- The infamous elimination of both Addison and Chloe from her team in S13, who went to be the Top 2. Usher- His song choices for Bria Kelly. Ceelo- Keeping Erin Martin. Jennifer- The diva direction she made Davon Fleming take. Kelly- Dropping Mikaela Astiel and Jackson Marlow in the battles.( I know that's 2 but both of them could have been vote magnets) Shakira- All of her song choices in S6. John- Dropping Thunderstorm in S18.

Short seasons for sure. There's barely any time for the contestants to build steady fanbase on the show.

Congrats to Camm! The dark horse of the season, what a great journey!

Yeah, he was my favorite last season, but I was surprised he got 2nd considering that Katie and Jake were seen as locks for T2, just like Tstorm and Todd this season.

Is there any possibility according to social media/FB (I haven´t been paying much attention to the stats tbh) that we may have a Ricky Duran situation? (Surprise contestant that sneaks up to 2nd place and one of Todd/Thunderstorm in 3rd)

He needs to pull the Joe Cocker out, I know he´s saving that card.

It would pretty much seal the deal for his win, its a song he´s done a million times and he sounds amazing in it. Now imagine the irony that would be if it happened : a Team Legend contestant that won performed Hallelujah in the finale and yet a contestant that he let go and might win too performs in the finale as well. .

Congratulations to Tstorm! Well deserved spot in the finale. He´s on the right track to win this thing, let´s see what he and Nick pull out next week.

If it happens, John will join Adam and Miley as coaches who had the winner and dumped them. (The Blake/Gwen exchange of CWB doesn´t really count because I´m pretty sure they both agreed on the whole thing.)

For real tho. Everything points to it happening, but still let´s wait till next week.

Also, props to Micah, who went from a very controversial KO to the finale.
