As for Rod´s situation, I get what you´re saying, especially in the battle, since yeah, nobody viewed Gyth as a threat at that point, but I do think Adam threw him at the tigers with Maelyn, a clear favorite from the beggining, in the Cross Battles, especially since I´m pretty sure John was gonna challenge another team but Adam insisted to be challenged. The decision could have been strategic like you said but Adam had pretty much a disgrace cross on his face that season and he knew it, and still sacrificied his strongest member at the time.

Honestly, some Fleetwood Mac might do her well. She could do "Dreams" or "Gold Dust Woman " and strip them down to a more acoustic jazzy style, like she did with "All my Lovin"

So far, with the support we have seen from Minivan, Thunderstorm and Todd still appear to be very much in the lead, and both of them are capable singers, so I expect them to sail through on Monday. Allegra´s tone is undeniable, but yes, Minivan is not a fan of her diction. She needs to work on that, cause otherwise she might be headed to a Mia Z style elimination, although I´m confident that Nick will save her. Toneisha appears to be Blake´s favorite this year, so I think he´s gonna do what he can to take her far. I also have a feeling that Megan and CammWess could do some serious damage if they keep performing like their KO.

She also did "Did I Ever Love You" and nobody has ever done that song again. Props to her for that performance as well and for doing a Leonard Cohen song that is not "Hallellujah"

I´m also pretty sure Rod Stokes in S16 wasn´t supposed to get far at the beginning. He was paired against the runner up on battles and against the winner in the CB , he got the death spot in the Playoffs with a song that didn´t do him any favors and he still got a PV. It was only after he was Kelly´s last man standing that they tried to help him get to the finale, by making him duet with Maelyn and giving him a good song in T8.

Kelly´s been called dumb by quite a lot of people for her decisions but she is far from it. The girl is as strategic as they get. She knows she only needs one to win and sticks with him/her till the end (Brynn, Chevel, Jej, Jake), by sacrficing her team as a whole so that she can focus on them more. And 3 out of 4 times it has worked. Her decisions are definitely controversial, probably more that any other coach other than Adam, but she knows what she´s doing. She has been more of a rival for Blake in 4 seasons that Adam has been in 16.

Has punk rock ever been performed on the show? I would like to hear some Green Day, Blink 182, The Offspring.

One of my favorite bands ever. It would be cool to hear their songs on the show, but I feel the covers would pale in comparison to the originals, unless the contestants make them their own.

Yep, no coach in the show´s history can say they haven´t made mistakes, however, there are some who are more prone to them.

Who knows tho. We have constantly called out the show for its predictability but it has surprised us every now and them. The fact that they are performing at home will be a crucial factor as well.

I hope she saves Mandi tbh, she´s clearly a fantastic vocalist and I´m curious to see what else she can do, but her chances seem slim, especially with her KO montaged. That being said, Kelly likes to go with the unexpected sometimes, so that could be a shocker for Monday.
