There were a lot of great auditions that season. The Voice UK was so much better in the earlier seasons, and Season 2 had so much great talent.

I think people expected it to be the best audition that season, but a lot of people were disappointed because they didn’t think it lived up to expectations. Cami and Desz were better received than her on here. I remember it at least getting better reception than Worth the Wait though. Definitely one of my Top 10 auditions, but there are at least four auditions I preferred

Since the season starts in a few weeks, I would like to bump the thread. I am going to be updating the OP every week of prelives. I can mention the artist, episode and chair turns as indicated by the video, but decisions by artists or coaches will not be mentioned if they weren’t revealed. For instance, I can say that Contestant X turned 4 chairs but not what coach they picked. I’m very excited to update the thread in real time this season. Also, if you watched an older season and you remember a performance being leaked that is not listed on the OP, comment in the thread and I can add it.

Good point there, especially since not everyone likes the same genres. Also, not everyone who goes to tapings is a hardcore fan of the show like a lot of IDF. Plus, a lot of sources only saw one round of performances, so they won’t know if the other rounds were better or worse.

Another thing to remember, the sources have a history of not providing much Knockout feedback on eventual winners. For 2 of the last 4 winners, the source talked more about their opponents, but those ended up being key performances for both winners. The previous 2 winners before them didn’t have confirmation of making Lives until Knockouts aired due to missing spoilers from later tapings (the last 2 seasons with taped prelives before COVID).

If he sang a different song in the Semis rather than Without Me, he could have won with Blake. It was a bummer that he had his worst performance in one of the most critical rounds of the competition, because his run was excellent before that.

On that note, I’m going to have to nominate thevoiceisthetop for keeping track of the songs sung in the competition. It’s a great resource, especially since I can’t remember many renditions of songs myself

I agree with all these. The 6 out of the 13 you mentioned were probably my Top 6 this season as well. And yeah, I agree that Rowan’s lives weren’t very good. I will probably check out the season after Blake leaves to see what it’s like without him (which could be either good or bad).

It seems like country singers thrive a lot on that show as well. What is the favoritism towards country singers like on Idol compared to The Voice?

Good to see Lana L and Cara making Playoffs. Morgan T would have made it for me but the format did not help her. Team Gwen is the best and Team Camilla is second.

I think that is good, since you know which contestants made it decently far into the competition. It will definitely be inevitable, especially if you want to look at the spoiler thread (though spoilers are usually hidden in the OP). I might end up checking the OP regardless, since playoffs are around the seventh week of the season.

It’s nice to see a contestant that made Lives here that didn’t on The Voice. And it happens to be a contestant from one of the most epic battles in the show

Can We become the first contestant to make finale on both shows? She might already be the third Voice finalist to make voting rounds but first that was on The Voice first (one of the two previous contestants won her Voice season).
