Most important 1. Pitch (The main reason why performances are good or bad) 2. Brings the house down (I tend to favor the contestants with showy and memorable performances) 3. Tone (Really a contestant’s identity, I have loved many contestants for tones and hated a few for their tones) Sometimes a factor 4. Emotion (Performing with emotion can make a performance better, but I’ve liked contestants that didn’t do this much. As long as it doesn’t interfere with pitch it’s good) 5. Preferred genres (My opinion of contestants is usually consistent with genres, but there have been outliers) 6. Flip songs (Have given some of the best performances, though not a requirement) Don't really matter 7. Appealing personality (I don’t watch the show live so I don’t get to see them) 8. Musical instruments (Can be cool to see, but it’s called The Voice) I really don’t care 9. Age (I hold all ages to the same standard, and favorites have varied in age) 10. Gender (Some seasons are more male-stacked and others are more female-stacked. I’d say my snowflakes are about 50-50) Defeats the purpose of the show 11. Good looks
