Failed to turn a chair the first time they auditioned (though Gihanna’s wasn’t aired), then upon a successful audition made it all the way to the lives & past the playoffs.

yeah, you got the crux of it. i tried to stretch it a lot lol, but ultimately that's the main part. the whole thing is below:

- all were returning auditioners (some unaired, going by spoilers)

- all were eliminated in a semifinals shortened-time vote for the bottom X contestants

- all were on the team of the coach who had been with the show for the 2nd longest #stretch (for Anita, Gwen and Pharrell were tied, I think)

- all won both their battle and their knockout

I think their Semifinals songs are from a film.

Joshua Vacanti - Ashes (from "Deadpool 2") (bonus: My Heart Will Go On from "Titanic")

Kat Perkins - Let It Go (From"Frozen")

Marybeth Byrd and Jake Hoot sang "Up Where We Belong" as a duet (From "An Officer and a Gentleman")

Yeah, and similar to the last one, all of those songs won Oscars for Best Original Song. (Not Ashes though)
