ShortstopVM Posted October 18, 2022 Share Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) I really don't understand the people in the comments picking the Clippers, though This would've been a trendy pick before the Pandemic, but their window closed when they blew it in The Bubble, and Father Time is going to catch up with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. If anything, the windows are open for the Warriors, Nuggets, and Mavericks. EDIT: I forgot about the part where they played the Suns in the WCF two seasons ago. Vince Carter already "stuck his arm in the rim", and his dunk in Oakland was much cleaner than Sims'. Mac McClung is stealing the show right now. ShortstopVM Posted May 20 Share Posted May 20 (edited) That was a colossal collapse by the Knicks. We had TWO opportunities to wrap up the series and what do we do? Get our butts blown out in each one of them. We were giving up wide-open threes, easy layups, second-chance points; you name it, we made it easy for the Pacers to break off some big runs in these games. It's not even just that - we had a Game 7 in The Garden - on our home court, with our home fans - and we still lost by a lopsided margin. I can't be proud of that. And I don't want to hear iNjUrIeS as an excuse; it's our job to make adjustments and make do with what we've got, and in the end we didn't - we just let Indiana steamroll over us. I wish I could say "great season"... But the way that we lost these two games; the way we choked this series away; the way we lost to a team seeded lower than us ...
