I think it's really an awkward song choice for him. Rewrite the stars is a song to push love regardless of the situation you are in. Linday was good technically but all I can say is that she's all power overshadowing the emotion that the song needs to portray. One thing I always notice in Blake's comments in other team's battles is that he always pick those who can sing a high note. This battle tbh doesn't made any sense that's why some parts are cut. Btw I'm using your comment to give my thoughts about Zae Vs Lindsay battle. I hope you don't mind.

Is it me or this season TPTB wants to push a Nick win by secretly using Blake to influence Nick's Decisions. They put Nick's chair next to Blake so that Nick could easily understand Blake's decisions. Knowingly how Blake beat Nick last s18 with 2 artist. Nick might've thought to listen more to Blake's thoughts specially in these pre-taped rounds so that he can gain more experience in making decisions and then to win.

Jackie and Mia on KO with Jackie was a Triple Steal + Save making it like a Four Chair Steal is the most iconic steal for me.

I already knew that Gihanna would do a similar to Emily's version because if you change the approach for that song it wouldn't make any sense but the emotion presented for that song is something that you should watch out for. For Anna and Chevel I think they will still be compared and with Blake stealing Anna might influence country fans to make at least a little comparison. Still we don't know until we hear them.

To be fair enough both of their songs were already sang in the past seasons which both are really good. Chevel with If I Die Young is still one of my favorite audition of all time. I wonder how Anna will do with that song.

Her version is a top-tier, I wonder if she'll be able to surpass that.
