  1. No, with all that, i still wouldn't like that format. Maybe on another show, but we are talking about The Voice USA, a show where the main audience is biased to certain type of singers, and even worst, is biased to the contestans on certain team of certain coach. So, that inevitably would lead to some great singers to leave the show before the live playoffs, just because they don't fit the main audience preferences.
  2. With all honesty, i'd still think he is really talented and i'd probably enjoy his performances, but I would not root for him because, i don't want Blake to win another time. (I know, i'm trash ) Sorry, it's hard for me to not be biased to certain coaches, especially in a show that is heavilly focused on the coaches more than on the contestants.
  3. It's wrong that i want Kenzie to win just for the sake of Kelly's having another win? After flopping two times, i just want her to have another victory In my defense, i genuinely think that Kenzie is really talented, even if i'm not a fan of country.
  4. Ok guys, I think we have the TCO and possibly the winner of the season. TPTB will do all in their power to make Nick the winning coach, that's for sure. And since they already fail once at that, i don't think they will let their plans fail once again.
  5. Since Carter recently won, I made this to know who is the favorite teen winner on IDF. So, let´s go
  6. Finally, an opinión that actually belongs on this thread (Btw, i disagree)
  7. I mean, Carter won the public vote in both Playoffs and Semifinals, Jim can't relate
  8. The thing with YouTube is, as long as Ian and Jim doesn't win, the audience there will be very happy. They hate country even more than IDF's does. In fact, they don't only hate country males, they hate country females too (I remember Lauren receiving a lot of hate just for being country, pretty much all people there was happy when Chris won over her). So, as long as Carter, Desz or John wins (the last two aren't gonna happen, sadly) they will be relieved. If Jim or Ian wins, there will be a BIG meltdown there, just like the last two seasons. And of course, country artists have their loyal fanbases on there just like in IDF, but when people who is fan of other contestants start seeing them as a threat to their favorites, is when the hate for them comes. Even though sometimes the hate for them comes until after they won (See Chevel, she was pretty much loved there...until she won)
  9. The fact that we didn't get studios from Thunderstorm's performances of "Summertime", "Home" and "What a Wonderful World" is depressing as hell. Instead, we got a studio of his mediocre duet with Nick
  10. Her team in Season 15 was the BEST: Chevel, Kymberli, Sarah, Zaxai, Abby and Keith, plus Lynnea, all were strong contenders (Abby and Keith flopped in the playoffs, but i love their knockout performances, especially Abby's) Now, as i much as i hate to admit it, she had the worst team in Season 17. Shane was a mess, so were Hello Sunday; Damali had a great knockout performance, but that's it, overall, she was boring. And she ended losing one of her strongest contenders (Max) in the Top 12. Jake was her only hope of winning and fortunately for her, there were no other country singers to compete with him, so he basically secured his win after his Top 13 performance (He was actually pretty good tho).
  11. One question. That poll was made before or after the finale? Because, if it was before the finale, i can see why people would want Micah win, but he had a very weak night in the finale, so maybe that changed people minds , and now, they decided to pick him as the worst finalist of his season.
  12. It's imposible to not brought this topic back when yourself have said such things like "Minivan won't let that happen". We don't even know the contestants of Season 20, yet you just have admitted with that statament that the main audience doesn't support females, and it has nothing to do with talent, because we don't know any of the contestants, yet you are making such assumptions Now, I just made emphasis in black women, because, of the females that have won, 7 out of 8 are white (and the other that is not white is not exactly black either). So, at least white women somehow have more chance at winning, even if minivan usually doesn't support females, but black women, on the other hand, have 0 chance at winning. So, when You talk about "Queens getting no chance" that will always include mainly, black women.
  13. Why so rude though? Lets us dream please, we all know how the main audience aka Minivan works. There is no need for You to come and remind us that women (especially black women) have very poor chances of getting far on this show
  14. Well, at least, you got these two right. Thanks.
  15. I voted Cami winning Instant Save because, with Ben and probably Ian there, it's not likely to happen, BUT it's still possible, unlike most of the things on that list.
  16. Now that you ask, no, i don't care for them either, they all are pretty forgettable except for a very few of them,("Wasted Love", "Deja Vú", "Tennessee Rain", "Broken Hearts") but on the other hand, it's a opportunity for the contestants to showcase what they want to do as artists.
  17. Guys, i didn't meant to cause a whole debate over my post, sorry. I was just stating a fact (yes, a fact, because it's clear that white country men will always have better chance to make it farther on this show than black soul women, and btw, it has nothing to do with talent) and i stupidly thought that all people here were very well aware of that, but apparently, i was wrong. Sorry
  18. He is a white male country singer on Team Blake, he doesn't need a good song to pass her. If he gets PV tonight (which is very likely) he will for sure become (at least) runner-up next week
  19. I noticed that, before the season started, this thread just had 6 pages, now it has 14
  20. Really? I actually think the S9 final 4 was even more tragic except for Jordan (I liked Jeffery but he and Barret flopped hard in the finale, and Emily got one great performance, but flopped too on her Christmas cover) To be fair, maybe it's just me not being a fan of Season 9. Sorry, but what a boring season. Jordan destroyed everyone else (even though i really enjoyed Amy, Madi and Jeffery)
  21. Now that you mention Robegate... tomorrow will be 2 years of that iconic moment.
  22. The more live shows, the best. But, not gonna lie, the bloodbath eliminations in the Semi-Finals has been always the most iconic ones. So i voted for the third option. It was really anti-climatic when they only eliminated one-two singers before the final. And it's also really anti-climatic when only the most voted from each team gets to advance via PV.
  23. If you don't like this format, just wait to see the format of both The Voice UK and The Voice Australia for next seasons. The format in both of them is gonna be a disaster. In The Voice UK, they are skipping from battles to semifinals, and then to final (They are eliminating 20 contestants in one week!). And in The Voice Australia they are skipping from Blinds to SEMIFINALS! The format in both has been literally murdered and distroyed. At least here, we still have both Battles and Knockouts, and one Live Show before Semifinals
