I'm finding myself rewinding LiBianca's performance. She told a story and ma'am, I'm listening. Its gonna suck having to lose some Team Blake people in POs.

Seems like LiBianca had trouble getting through the song on rehearsals. Probably its a song that means something to her and she got emotional.

Preferred Hailey at first, but I think LiBianca took it after a rewatch. Very good match. I think Hailey definitely would have warranted a steal for her performance.

And Blake with the Adam's tattoo artist comment. Not gonna lie, at first glance I thought those were real too before they did a closeup on her.

After rewatching it, I think I'm leaning towards LiBianca now. Some moments there got really beautiful.

Wow. LiBianca vs Hailey as the leak. So some of the pairings we saw on the promo are likely not on the premiere.

I think there's another aspect that Joshua had to overcome in the KOs. In battles, he won against a teen girl that fit the good 4 u song much better than he did, from her age to her tone, the song was picked with her in mind, yet he emerged victorious. In the KOs, his opponent got to sing an advisor's song, and got first hand advice from Ed Sheeran himself on how to sing his own song. That is definitely a benefitial advantage. Yet Joshua emerged victorious once again. The guy is a fighter. I think he's going to deliver.

It could be, due to her singing Ed Sheeran. And as a whole, lots of YT attraction, a matchup consisting of Harry Styles vs Ed Sheeran songs.

He has a little cover of "Sign of the Times" by Harry Styles (again lol), and his voice feels sincere in that one. No sign of theatrics. I think he can pull it off.

If you would have told me that one of these battles (the last one of this list) would have cracked the Top 7, I wouldn't have believed you. But congrats to them. Probably the most pleasant surprise of the round.

I'm definitely looking to some strong KO pairings, because there seem to be quite a few. The people that got stolen were predicted by many to win their KOs, actually, and its a strong batch. The people that beat them are strong vocalists as well, so this should be good.

Seems like Paris vs Jonathan could crack the Top 5, or at least Top 7, given the ratings.

If she pulled it off, this could easily be my favorite performance of hers. Just listened to it, and yeah, definitely not a good song choice. No reason to think he flopped, since no steals were available when he performed, but I can see why a song like this wouldnt give him the win.

I do get that sense. I'm hoping Samara leaves on a high note (Hopefully with "River Deep, Mountain High" since its Tina Turner) Speaking of song choices, the Taping 3 source seems to know their Harry Styles, since they identified both "Falling" and "Golden" (I've never even heard this last one). "Chandelier" and "Photograph" are also pretty popular so they were likely to identify those songs too. And well, "Poison" is an old school classic too. So they might be pop fans that happened to know "Poison" as well.

They are pretty even though (I actually prefer Samara as of now). The others were thrown against strong people, it was over before it began.

Taping 3 info from KOs seems to be pretty vague, so it wouldnt surprise me if there's actually a mistake or two there. At least Joshua and Sabrina being paired (and her singing Ed's song) appear to be correct.

I'll give them a B+, which I consider to be a very good season for battles. Definitely better than the last couple of seasons. The first week started with a bang in both episodes, then Episode 3 took it down, plagued by bad song choices. Ep 4 was solid though, and the final battle was a perfect way to close things off.
