it also doesn't sit right with me either - and Allegra is my favorite this season. I get that she wants to garner support, but emailing people who didn't give her their email isn't really good practice morally. Nevertheless, I can't blame if I don't know that it's actually her (even though disappointingly it seems to be)

Totally agree - Hello Sunday beat out other deserving contestants (I actually like HS, but many others are more polished), and no one expected that. Furthermore, remember how last season John expected Khalea to be in and win the IS? Clearly not, right? So, I think they've learned their lesson from placing bets on their contestant winning.

On the Voice's instagram, at the end of their last post, they talked about the 4 way knockout. They listed the names in an odd order: Nelson, TMH, Samantha, Michael (which I think could be the order of the number of votes from least to most), which is interesting because that was not the order they performed. Furthermore, Nick said at the end of Michael's that "the 4 way knockout was crazy, but I'm glad Michael's still in this 'cause he deserves it." !!!!! I think that's confirmation Michael won, cause they didn't say that about anyone else.

genre cap is a bad idea; imagine being a pop singer and finding that John, Kelly, and nick already have their quota of pop singers and... oops, you have to go to Blake's team even though you turned four chairs. Furthermore, where do you draw the line between different genres? This season has already proven that some people exist between or within multiple genres, or people just disagree about genre (see: Samantha Howell, Megan Danielle, Mandi Thomas)

john not saving mandi castillo doesn’t seem that surprising to me. y’all are all thinking about the knockout and how he chose her over thunderstorm, but you forget that he messed up the song, and further, it was johns own song. mandi wasn’t necessarily picked because john likes her a lot; she was picked because thunderstorm “chose” a bad song and messed up his performance
