  1. So many great 4 chair auditions from this period. I voted Matthew and Christina.
  2. Taylor Phelan in the first part (loved his arrangement). Also enjoyed Luke, Maiya and Chris a lot. Sawyer, Anthony and India were the 3 best in group 2.
  3. I voted for Jordan and Alisan, but my other favorite auditions here were Manny, Viktor and Ryan.
  4. Batch 1- Loved Kymberli, Justin, Johnny and Britton (also Radha) Batch 2- Rizzi, Katie and Marybeth were my T3 block auditions I like most blocked auditions during this time (and with a few notable exceptions, the blocks were used well during these seasons). 14 in particular was the best with blocks, at they tried to use them on the best auditions, and every block made sense.
  5. Cami, Cam and John are my T3. Don’t care for any of the other auditions.
  6. I really loved Khalea’s audition the most when it came out. There was something magical about it. Marybeth and Katie were also very good auditions (Marybeth didn’t live up to it though). I like Ricky and Mendeleyev’s auditions a lot more now than when I first watched them, and vice versa with Shane and Brennan (I basically preferred the latter two at first and now I prefer the former two). Shane’s audition is a lot better than his later performances though. Preston was the weakest 4 chair audition this season IMO. Didn’t find it as special as the others
  7. Maelyn’s audition is the most memorable, though I really enjoyed Justin, Johnny, Kennedy, Sandy and Jej (Dexter and Shawn’s auditions grew on me upon rewatches though). No auditions I can really argue were undeserving of 4 chairs (though there are a few debatable ones here)
  8. S11 had Billy and We as standouts, and I liked the rest of their auditions except W&S S12 had JChosen and Casi as the only really good 4 chair auditions. The majority weren’t 4 chair worthy IMO. S13- The best season for 4 chair turn auditions. Brooke, Keisha, Moriah and Davon were really really good, and I also enjoyed Jon and Chris. I had to vote for the two auditions I was most obsessed with, Billy and Moriah
  9. Cam for sure (even though it was my 5th favorite of his) Avery Roberson is 2nd
  10. Victor Solomon (he set the bar so high for himself he couldn’t reach it until finale). Zania is clearly second for me
  11. Corey Ward A lot of auditions were good but not great IMO. The only weak audition here was JD
  12. I have to go with Zae on this one. I also enjoyed Dana, Raine and Lindsay’s auditions
  13. Thunderstorm’s is the most memorable to me. No 4 Chair audition from these seasons has made the impact of that one. Cami, Desz, Mike and Zae (in no particular order) round out my T5 There were a bunch I didn’t care for during this time.
  14. Agreed. Cory was very underrated and deserved to go further. He had a really good audition and deserved to beat Zach in the battle, as I found him more entertaining and better vocally. I really liked the country with a theatrical twist. He could have easily made Blake’s T3 if he won the battle (I only thought Ricky was deserving out of the people that made it)
  15. 30. About right. Her audition wasn’t a standout and her battle was alright. She also only had two performances. 29. I would put him a couple sets higher because I thought he was good every round in prelives, even if he didn’t have a huge moment, but his IS performance of Speechless was laughably bad. 28. He was decent, but never great in the prelives, but his Live playoff was terrible. I’d place him around this set. 27. His audition was ok, but he was good in the battle. This placement is about right for him. 26. Her audition was a standout, but she never reached that point again. I would put her near this placement.
  16. 1. ? 2. Deion Warren (Blake promised that he wouldn’t turn for anyone similar to Cam, and this is the only audition where he mentioned the promise) 3. ? 4. Jose Figueroa (Lost 70 pounds on the show) 5. ?
  17. Dave Fenley and Kameron Marlowe’s Knockout Matchup (Both country guys took a risk by singing non-country songs and were both great. Too bad Dave flopped and Kameron got robbed in playoffs) Davon Fleming’s Blind Audition, Knockout and Playoff (All performances are a 10/10, it is a bummer that he always got bad song choices throughout Lives). Johnny Gates’ A Million Reasons (A great song flip, but was matched against Gwen’s frontrunner’s breakout performance) S5 Lives can have their own list. Will’s Hey Brother is probably the most underrated of these (so good but nobody remembers it). Jacquie’s WLY is also her most underrated Gyth’s Playoff (I mentioned in another thread that he was liked earlier in the season before GBTUSA, which ruined his reputation, but this was the only one of his Live covers that fit him). Also in S16, Dexter’s HWU and Anything Goes (which got me to believe he deserved 2nd in that finale), Shawn Sounds’ A House Is Not a Home (Probably the best male R&B vocal performance besides Chris and Cam) and Rod Stokes’ WAMLAW. I guess it makes sense that most of my list would include males, considering this is IDF.
  18. Chris Kroeze. Nobody ever took him seriously. First, everyone thought he was a PO fodder, and then he got to the T12. Then, nobody expected him to get a Semis PV to the finale, and he ended up placing 2nd in the finale, when everyone said he was getting 4th place, outlasting most contestants IDF liked. He had very few fans on IDF during his season. I don’t remember him getting a lot of hate before the finale though. Red Marlow is another example. He was a contestant on Season 13, when there were so many contestants IDF liked. He was hated throughout IDF because he was inevitably going to rob contestants during the season, and he made finale over a few IDF favorites (Noah and Keisha). Luckily, this didn’t continue during the finale, as he only got 4th. Adam C to a lesser extent, since he declined in Lives and controversially eliminated Janice and made semis IS over Keisha. Blake’s country guys in S16. Originally, it was Dexter and Andrew (particularly the latter, due to being a complete underdog early on) and IDF liked/respected Gyth. The PO results were particularly controversial due to the format allowing most of Team Blake in the T13. The snowflake killer changed to Gyth in the Semis (Shawn and Rod were better received in the Lives, and Dexter and Andrew were better received at this point). Luckily for IDF, Maelyn won in the end season Kenzie Wheeler this season was the snowflake killer. IDF was worried that he was going to win, and made finale over some IDF favorites on Team Kelly. Fortunately for IDF, Cam, the only contestant that had a chance at beating him, won in the end.
  19. Just an observation about all of the Voice Alumni on AGT All four Voice alumni on AGT were four chair turns (Brooke Simpson, Sarah Potenza, Jej Vinson, Chris Weaver) 2 of them (Sarah and Chris) opened the premiere and the other 2 closed their episodes (Brooke closed the premiere that Chris opened) On top of that, Brooke’s battle partner, Sophia got a “no” in auditions.
  20. Sam and Jamal were already covered Some others I can remember Stephan Marcellus (I don’t remember anyone else forgetting lyrics and getting a sympathy turn) Hello Sunday (they had better performances later but this was bad) Alex Kandel Shilo Gold Jaron Strom
  21. 1. Ainae (Cedrice and James Pyle, the last auditions the last two seasons, were stolen in battles, and Ainae would have been if Blake wasn’t too late) 2. Bradley Sinclair (Gihanna sang Someone You Loved, which would have been his KO song) 3. Pete Mroz (Because of Disney’s hatred of him) 4. ??? 5. ??? Don’t know about the song choices
  22. BK liked Emma too. I don’t think she will be ranked for maybe a couple rounds. Pete and Raine will likely be ranked in the next couple sets. I don’t know if Kenzie and Jordan will be ranked yet because of how far they went, but Ian last season made finale but was already ranked at this point, due to his polarizing tone, which neither of them have.
  23. I don’t think Ciana will not be in the next batch because BK liked her a lot (even her KO which a lot of people didn’t like). Deion, Ainae, Bradley and Jose make sense for the next round though. Not sure about the fifth member.
