:haha: I figured you plotted everything out well in advance, and it just all magically fell into place with minor numberical adjustments!

BTW, check Twitter when you can. :fear:

Lol not at all.. I have to adapt because of all the people dropping out and I also added like 2~3 more cycles which is why this Rankdown is nearly 9 months old :haha:

Heracross

IPB Image

Heracross is a beetle pokemon released in Gen 2. I would say its one of the most popular bug pokemon ever, I think in large part due to his anime appearances. It is a bug and fighting dual typing. In Gen 7, Heracross was made even more powerful when he was given the ability to mega evolve. He has 500 stats, growing to 600 when it Mega evolves, nothing to scoff at. One big problem with his dual typing is he become 4 times weak to Flying, a relatively standard move type. He is also weak against Fire, Psychic and Fairy moves. Heracross is resistance to fighting, bug, dark, grass and ground moves. Heracross is a good physical attacker to keep on any team, and he has placed very high in the rankdown, so thats awesome!

Silvally

IPB Image

How have I not gotten a title for cutting Legendary Pokémon? I demand a recount. :) Silvally is a Normal-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Type: Null when leveled up with high friendship. It will change types when it is holding any type of memory. Oh, wow. I thought to myself this Pokemon resemble Type: Null and know I know why. :dead: It's known as the Synthetic Pokémon. I still want a recount on that Legendary title because I am sure I cut a lot of them. We are getting close to the end so this is a great spot for Silvally. What a great accomplishment.

056. ALTARIA (#334)

IPB Image

Altaria has done a great job at making it this far. I love it! But I believe this is ultimately an acceptable spot for it.

Here's a Shiny Altaria, just to make this post extra kawaii! Enjoy:

This utterly fabulous dual-type Dragon/Flying combo, known as the "Humming Pokémon", has a nifty design. Look at that fluffy cloud encasing it! It evolves from the adorable Swablu (which is actually only a Normal/Flying combo) at Level 35. It can also Mega Evolve into Mega Altaria (using Altarianite), becoming a dual-type Dragon/Fairy and looking even more dazzling than before:

Now, this Gen. III creature originates from the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games. In the Hoenn region, you can actually obtain an already evolved Altaria from the Sky Pillar. Or you can simply capture a wablu from Routes 114+115, and enjoy the evolution process. Which is what you ought to do, duh.

While I think it has obviously been awesome enough to stick around for quite a while, I respect it finishing at a fine spot here in the Top 60. We bid it adieu as it's off to win more beauty pageants.

SAVING: KROOKODILE, which is a total badass;

MIMIKYU

IPB Image

Mimikyu has been a target of mine in this game simply because I think Pokémon inspired by Pikachu has been overdone throughout the generations. Mimikyu is a clear example of that as Mimikyu is basically a Pokémon wearing a Pikachu disguise. Anyway, Mimikyu, classified as the Disguise Pokémon, is a dual Ghost and Fairy type introduced in Generation VII. Mimikyu has no other evolutionary forms. Mimikyu is a small Pokémon that hides its appearance under a rag. According to its Pokédex entry, Mimikyu's appearance is so terrifying that a scholar once saw what was underneath the rag and died from shock. Mimikyu is also a quiet and lonely Pokémon, but it will become violent if anyone tries to look under its disguise. Maybe it's doing that for the better of others so they don't die from shock too. As for Pokémon battles, Mimikyu is the only Pokémon with its type combination. It has solid stats, with only a weak Special Attack stat. Therefore, trainers are better off teaching Mimikyu physical attacks, as well as the move Swords Dance to increase its power. Anyway, Mimikyu is a nice enough and I can see the appeal. I've never been much of a fan, so out it goes from the rankdown.

Jirachi
IPB Image

I guess Jirachi isn't the worst mythical Pokemon, but it's far from my favorite mythical Pokemon and it's definitely not worthy of being the last mythical Pokemon left. Jirachi is a dual-type Steel/Psychic Pokemon introduced in the worst generation, Generation III. Because it resembles a star, Jirachi is said to be able to grant any wish written on the tags on its head when it wakes up once every 1000 years. Unlike Mew or Celebi which are heavily featured in the lore of their respective generations, everybody in Gen III could care less about Jirachi. Like other mythical Pokemon, you really have to get Jirachi through some kind of event. The first Jirachis were handed out to Japanese customers who pre-ordered tickets to the movie Jirachi: Wish Maker where the Pokemon was first introduced. Also because it's so heavily tied to Tanabata, there are usually distributions for Jirachi to acknowledge the holiday in game.
