I am Team Waffle on this one, Alisan and Maelyn all the way. Honorable mentions to GNT, Sawyer, Cam, and Tessanne.

(For the first batch, I was very torn between Alisan and Jordan Smith. For a sec, I mildly considered Craig Wayne Boyd and Tessanne Chin.)

 

(For the second batch, it was a very easy decision, although I thought a lot of those auditions were brilliant [especially Maelyn and Girl Named Tom]. But I just have a special place in my heart for Chris's.)

I´ll say that Cam´s audition is obviously great, but I´ve rarely gone back to it when compared to his other performances. It was more like a warm up to what was coming.

Set 1: high standard even for winners, I really love most of these although wasn’t huge on Mean or obviously Complicated lol. But Alisan was a moment, I’d argue best BA in the history of the show. Probably Sawyer 2nd.

 

Set 2: honestly Cam, that audition slayed me. HM to Maelyn and GNT (not a huge Chris fan but he was also great here)
